HIT AND RUN early Sunday morning 7/8/12

Sometime between midnight and 8am my Ford Windstar was sideswiped and the coward left the scene. This happen in the Lakewood Falls Phase 5 subdivision, in Romeoville. Besides the pieces of a shattered headlight and pieces of the bumper the police found a fog light insert, indicating it was a Nissan. If anyone spots a Nissan with the driver side damage please report it to the Romeoville police department.

A couple months ago I had a 20 year old Hispanic female driving a tan Nissan (possibly a Sentra) turn the corner at Lake Wood Falls Drive and Lakeside Drive very wide and fast almost hitting me. She could care less probably no insurance or license. I think she turned down Covington Drive so you may want to check that area. Good Luck

Thanks will do! I'm sure who ever it was, more than likely did not have insurance. Thankfully, I am fully insured, I just want the coward to answer to authorities.

Why is your car parked on the street overnight in the first place? There is village ordnance prohibiting overnight parking without approval.

No there isn't an ordnance prohibiting overnight parking in that area, and we do not live there we were visiting.

Like I said California is yours but there is a reason America's citizenry is the most armed in the world and should the day come they will be prepared to defend it.

You are absolutely correct this Curious George may do just that. However, if your El Jefe, Obama, or any politician, Republican or Democrat, does so then not only will the US drop to third world status immediately but the Federal Government will learn the definition of rebellion. I am sure states will look to secede and it will trigger a Civil War Dos. Comprendes Piojo?

Totally off topic.

No they were not found, the van was totaled out, and the insurance covered most of what was owed on the van, not all of it, so we are now out of a car and it will be a few months before we can even get a new one. To the idiot, my kids thank you for ruining their summer, since we can not get anywhere. It doesn't matter what type of van, or year it was, it was ours and in great condition and now because of the stupidity of one idiot we are without.
