It's his fault.. He jay walked and was stupid enough to try and go back to the sidewalk. IT'S HIS FAULT!!!!!
you wouldn't be saying that if it was your family member. it doesnt matter whose fault it is. yeah okay it was a stupid mistake but everyone makes them...he just happened to be killed.

Another tragic lesson for you careless teens. So many times I warn my daughter to look before she crosses the street. So many times I see teens dart in and out of traffic, rarely looking at oncoming traffic. Why can't they look before crossing the street? What is wrong with kids today?
with kids today?? kids all through time. r u Mr. perfect? how about it was dark and he j-walked like im sure yuo have...he wasnt like omg i wanna die tonight.. when u have kids (which yuo abviously dont) and one of them dies i hope every one is as cruel to you. unless you know these parents dont open ur mouth! ur "F"ing rude.

My kids played hockey with the Williamsons at South Bay T.I.D.E.S. Cody positively exemplified what T.I.D.E.S. stood for - teamwork, integrity, dedication, excellence and sportsmanship. This was not limited to sports but encompassed his life as a whole. He will be sorely missed, this is a devastating blow to anyone who knew him or even knew OF him. My heart aches for his family and the friends that knew him so much better than my family did. There will NEVER be a "reason" or justification for this, it is a terrible tragedy for all involved.
*To the people who feel it is acceptable to make rude comments inferring that "he deserved it" or "it was his own fault" or that his parents were somehow to blame for not raising him or keeping an eye on him - your comments are uncalled for and unnecessary. Go somewhere else, where your hatefulness is appreciated. You are not welcome here!

kids now days seem to be in another world. To much video games, tv,crazy music and no responsabilities. Parents don't parent any more. The kids just run wild and do as they please when they please. Parents don't have time to be bothered. Just give the kids some money and they will go away. I see a lot of parents that don't talk to their kids or explain things to them. They just let them run wild.
With all due respect, you don't know what you are talking about. I know this family and their children. They are a wonderful family with amazing parents and great kids. How dare you take such a horrific event in our community and use it to stand on your ridiculous soap box? How would you feel if this were your son? Try to have a little more respect.

To JAM in LA and Sparkie in Tacoma. You don't know what the heck you are talking about. The Williamson family is a great family with amazing parents and terrific kids. This is a tragic loss for all of Redondo Beach. How dare you use this horrific event in their lives to stand upon your ridiculous soap box? Obviously your parents never taught you any manners let alone compassion. What if this were your son? Try to have a little more respect.

yeah he did something stupid that everyone has done
you should just shut the f**** up and be glad it wasnt you when you were jwalkin
and you think you even have a right to say it was his fault. thats just disturbing.
