Catano expected to return to Hawthorne City Council

I don't think 'ol Pablito is going to be threating anyone at council meetings anymore, hopefully the side of his brain that has had him aimlesslly fallowing that worthless hump of a mayor was damaged.PABLO ,your 68 years old,mute and brain damaged, DO THE CITY OF HAWTHORNE A FAVOR , STEP DOWN.

Pablo not being able to speak at council meetings is properly a good thing. We will be saved from his meaningless rambles and threats to punch out residents who don’t agree with Mayor Guidi. Although Ginny Lambert has not had a stroke, she also seems to also talk in circles. Because of Guidi’s loss of control at the last council meeting, I’m expecting him to strokeout and will soon joining Pablo in the Little Company of Mary Transitional Care Center in Torrance.

Catano certainly cannot do much more harm brain damaged compared to what he has already done to the City of Hawthorne. Let him wear his Depends and sit in his chair.

The citizens of Harthorne will be well served by their illustrious council and mayor. The city is prospering and will only improve, as people flock to live in the city of good neighbors, good schools, easy parking, no congestion, and quiet, tree-lined streets where families may enjoy life. But, if you don't see it the way of the council, beware for your lights might be punched out!

so many of you can be so evil. if catano was your father you would never allow anyone to speak of him that way. the man has suffered something that should not be wished on anyone and you guys speak of it as its a game. hawthorne is the city you make of it.....if all you do is complain and not get your behinds up and do something then shut it!

Pablo is an excellent Councilman and independent thinker. We prayer for him each day. Get well Pablo.

Pablo does what Mayor Guidi tells me and nothing else. Please provide proof otherwise. For example, has he ever voted against Mayor Guidi on ANYTHING? Check his cell phone records and you will see the number of times Guidi calls him. I feel sorry for what happened to Pablo, but he is in no way an independent thinker.

To all of you who feel so compelled to make snide, insipid, rude, and ignorant remarks about Pablo Catano, Larry Guidi, or anyone for that matter...I'd suggest you do several things before EVER putting your feeble fingers on the keyboard again...Look in the mirror, examine your own conscience, get off your sorry behind and run for an office or serve your fellow man in some way that is decent. DON'T speak ill of those who are ailing. And how is it that all of you know so much about a city where you don't even reside! Not ONE post here is from a Hawthorne resident! Unless you are all liars putting down falsehoods when you have the audacity to accuse Mr. Catano and Mr. Guidi and Mrs. Lambert of dishonesty! Each of you should be ashamed of what you have written here...How do any of you sleep at night with the cruelty that spews from your virtual mouths???

For those who doubt the sorry state of Harthorne, just go visit the city and you will see for yourself. Talk to the good residents who are bullied and intimidated by Mayor Guido and company. Look at www.guidiwatch.com and learn more. The facts speak for themself. Harthorne used to be a fairly decent place to live, but no more. It really went downhill in the early 80's. Speak to police officers and they will privately tell you what they think of Harthorne. My advice, get the heck out of Harthorne unless you want to pay a half-million or more for a little shack or rent in a drug-infested apartment.

Nancy Perters, Please let me remind you of dishonesty. Former Guidi selected City Manager Rick Prentice ran out of town (not covered in your paper) after paying back close to $100,000 to the state retirement system (after the first Grand Jury). Then there was former Councilman Louis Velez CONVICTED (pleaded guilty) for Conflict of Interest WHILE in office by a second Grand Jury. It is interesting to note that your paper, the Guidi Gusset, NEVER reported that Louis Velez was indicted by a Grand Jury let alone convicted of FELONY Conflict of Interest. What has Pablo Catano done in the 7 years he has held office beside vote the way Guidi tells him? What does he stand for? What are his burning issues? What basis did your paper use to endorse Catano the last time he ran other than being part of Team Guidi? Based on your biased, one sided Yellow Journalistic writing style, no respectable paper would ever hire you to write for them. I suggest you keep your day job and leave the reporting to those have a journalism degree and the professional training to report unbiased facts on both sides of the issue!
