Very interesting.... I wanted to post on them but couldn't. I'll tell them that Silva is one of the dumbest paps in the world! I mean come on, if a motor of a car is running, and it moves even the slightest, don't you move?

hey everyone, I received an email from Connie, the Indiana Senator I contacted about needing to change the law about freedom of press; she explained that this is governed by the federal government. I'm not giving up though. She gave me the names of who to contact. I want to make sure I word the letter just right, so I'll work on it all weekend. Also, I came across some more celebs to use as examples, I've been search'n. Wish me luck!

To Dee. Thanks for the link, yes, Keanu sure has a "devilish" grin there. He's got a great smile and at least we get to see a lot of it. Some celebs hardly ever smile. Good luck with your letter writing, that's a good thing that you are doing. It's amazing that nothing has been done to control the paps behaviour yet. Silva is nothing more than a stalker getting pictures and getting paid for it. I hope Keanu wins his case and his lawyers take the opportunity to make an example of Silva. I think everyone is hoping that.

Yes Sharon, everyone is hoping that. I know I am. I dont know why I am so obsessed with this but I am maybe its Caz I hate the way the paps treat the stars, especially Keanu. I have been reading about all this since the beginning and its got my blood boiling. I know Silva is the most unliked photog in CA, yet the most liked in Brazil. Why? I dont know.

Gypsy, this hasn't been easy. I just sent out two more letters. One to the President, and the other to Evan Bayh's office in the government. Now, I know it will take alittle time to hear from them. Connie got back with me fairly fast, but the president? who knows... Time will tell.

I found things like paps being sued for taking pictures without permission and losing over it. I'm stay'n on this. I feel that if there is any thing that I could ever do to help Keanu in life at this point, it would be to try and make things safer for him in life here in the USA. I feel as though I owe him that much. I don't know how long I'll live, hell, none of us do. I just don't want to leave this earth knowing how things are for him now. He doesn't deserve that.

I posted this in the other thread but it applies here as well. so Dee-Good luck with the pap thing. I don't think it will have an impact though. If anybody is going to start a movement toward paps keeping thier distance I think now would be a good time for Keanu to start the ball rolling. We'll soon see if he has that fight in him. Its up to the celebrities to do something not us fans.

truth,,Keanu has the fight in him, but he won't need to,,he has that unspoken way about him that keeps the paps at more of a distance then w/ other celeb's. It goes bk to that mystic he hs.
There are so many laws being broken by paps I don't understand how they get away w/ what they do.

To truthfinder. I agree with you about Keanu needs to stand up and start the ball rolling. Although Dee is doing a good thing I also don't think it'll have much of an impact. A famous person who is being harrassed by the paps needs to do it. I wonder why a couple of celebs don't get together and sign a petition. Surely that would mean something then.

Sharon,,a petition won't do anything,,the celeb's hv to turn the tables on the paps. Use the same laws on the paps. sue the paps for endangerment,
reckless behavior,assult,ect...
Truth,,I guess your right..he will have to stand-up if he wants any life at all,,it's only gonna get worse if he finds that someone.

I wonder if by chance the first case here was the photog silva??? Most likely not, but if it was...LOL. Anyways, I also read somewhere that a celeb couple was on vacation and sued the photog and company they worked for over taking pics of the family without permission and won...

These people are living as if they are above the law, and the truth is, they're not! They really have no grounds to stand on when it comes to taking one's pic without permission, or to harass and stalk them.

I don't even think the police realize that. Everyone thinks that the Freedom of Press rules, but not all events in life is actually news. It is not news when one goes to the store, or clinic, or even into a food place. This law has never been challenged, and now's the time to do just that.

I'm not going to try to keep these people from working, I just want the the law to make it where in some of these happening that they be required to have an appointment to get the no-non-sense stories and pictures that they now harass and stalk them over. I'll always loved a challenged.

It will be hard cause no one has ever done this before. I want Keanu and the rest of my friends who are famous (I do know others) to be safe, and know that they can live well. I would want the same kind of treatment for them in this matter that I would expect for myself. I've actually wanted to tackle this since Princess Di's death. Now, I have even more of a reason to do so. I don't want to be bothered in the way they have.

Dee,,I heard about the foot thing it's right up there with the lady who sued McDonalds,,Believe me I like my tabliods too, but there should be rules of some kind. Even something as simple as a bountry law,,they can take as many pictures as thy want but from so many feet away. No blocking traffic,jumping on cars,,you know crazy behavior.

Look guys it is a catch 25. I mean some stars love that the paps are there talking pictures. I mean look and Britney, Jolie/Pitt, and even Clooney now has become a pap hog. Even though he doesn't like it when they almost kill him (motorcycle accident) When you are in the magazines then your on the top of the game. But some actors (keanu for one) do not care about that. So there has to be a happy median somewhere. I think cracker is right. distance. keep the distance.

It's a simple solution to a sever problem. The paps get all the pictures they want and the star's who want to be plastered in the mag's get what they want..everyones happy
I keep goin back to the pap who threw himself on the hood of Brit's car for a better picture. I guess he doesnt have telephoto lens. Is'nt that those lens that you can see the Space Station

The fact is that no one has ever challenged the law. If everyone turned the page, and started stalking the paps for pics and dirt in their lives, they would charge them with it. They are dirtbags, wanting money for nothing. Hey, talk'n about Jolie and Pitt, I got an invisited to her bd party that's being planned in NY. I'm not going though, but it was nice to be invited. And about these pc's, has any of you been type'n away and then suddenly most of what you had typed disappears? I'm try'n to find out what it is that I'm hit'n on these keys! help I'm tire of re-writing...

When that happens, if you catch it quickly enough, go up to "edit" and hit "undo". Should work hopefully.:)
