Not just slow...dead stop apparently.

Sunset Tan in the South Bay? Unlike those d-bags on the Westside, we have a genuine beach scene where people actually tan the natural way.

Hey south bay local...hope you also enjoy your trip to the hospital with skin cancer. These spray-tan salons offer people a safe alternative, why be so angry? Instead of trying to conquer our neighbors to the north of us, why not just embrace the area? So many angry people on these message boards

By natural, I meant outdoor beach activity like surfing, volleyball, biking, hiking, etc, not getting a fake n bake tan to go shopping at the Beverly Center, the Grove, or Robertson where you have to "look" the part. Speaking of angry, my comment wasn't directed to anyone in particular other than the fake Hollywood crowd that's invading the South Bay, but you singling me out exposes your own hypocrisy. That was real classy of you to use cancer as an invective. Those of us that enjoy outdoor activities know to use sun block.

What custom airbrush system do they use?

I like the term 'disposable income.' I use my disposable income to buy groceries. My family would rather eat than tan...

Hate to break it to you Local, but if Sunset Tan proves successful in Redondo, it just proves that d-bags populate the whole of Southern California.

By the way we have been so busy since the opening, people are looking for a safe alternative to the sun or maybe just want some color before a wedding or an event. we also employ 10 local people here at Sunset tan.I offer any haters to come in and try our service for free, then give your opinion.

I am Half Spanish and Half German and the ONLY way that I am able to tan is by going to a tanning salon and I LOVE it!!!

I was so addicted last summer because I after 40 years of trying to get a tan because my whole family tans but me, I obviously got the German skin type genes that I didn't want to ever go back to being pale skin. But who wants to look that tan in the winter so I stopped but now its almost summer again and the news that they opened a new salon locally when I watch Sunset tanning on TV I am sooo excited!!!!!

I can't wait to start again!!! And those of you haters that are knocking teh tanning salons before you have ever tried it?? Do yourself a favor just like your mom would tell you about trying new foods, try it and if you don't like it, don't do it again??

BTW, I am fair skinned and I was worried about looking like leather skin and getting wrinkles, I look way younger than my age so lets not start talking about that myth.

Do they have any specials going, I would love to get in there this week if possible I am in a wedding on June 7th and would love to have some color!!!!

We have 3 options for sunless tanning. Our airbrush system is Infinity Sun and is the best custom airbrush system I have ever used. We also have the California Tan Towers and the Versaspa- which are a million times better than Mystic. These booths do not turn you orange whereas the Mystic does.

Come in and check out the beautiful salon!! If you are in a wedding June 7th, I would definately recommend our custom airbrush! We can make you look like you've been in the sun for a few hours or make you look like you've been in the Bahamas for 2 weeks! It's a great system and I'm glad you're excited about tanning too!!:)

Don't try to grow too fast. You'll end up killing your business. The public is fickle.
