I took my family to eat at the Price Center tonight and evidently the Rogersville Black Community have gone Republican in a big way. My daughters and I were met by an attractive young lady who immediately put a Faulk sticker on us. It was embarassing to take it off right there knowing you would have to pass by him on the way out and it would be obvious that I had ripped it off. I am a Mike Williams supporter and I cannot believe that the way Ron Ramsey and his cronies incliding Mike Faulk have tried to wreck Nathan Vaughn's name that the African Americans in this town would go for him campaigning in your historical building. I guess the only Democrats left in Hawkins County are white. I hope it doesn't cramp the style of this community too much when they have to say President Obama in a few months. I haven't seen a single family in Rogersville with an Obama sign up in their yard. I guess you are ashamed of him but I am not. He is the most Presidential candidate that I have seen in years. I thought I was going to eat dinner not attend a political function for Mike Faulk.

25 dollars for the adults,by the time I left my pocket was empty. The food was great but I cannot believe these good people went for his rear end setting in there as a greeter for their museum.I am ashamed that they allowed him to come and set there and put people wanting a good meal on the spot like that. Many of the workers had on his stickers. Maybe they really do support him. If they do it is because they do not know the tom cat he is and that they will shoot their self in the foot by voting for him. It is a vote for Ron Ramsey and a vote against evertyhing the state of Tennessee has been about since Reconstruction. Maybe they really are not informed enough to know all the details of what Mike Faulks eleection to our state senate could mean.

Buzzard, excuse me Raven, I did not mean to offend you. Piney girl told me you were trying to suplement your income and had a job for the next month peeling Faulk stickers off the pavement for the city of Rogersville. I know times are hard for you since you lost your 401k last week. You still have your vote to cast. I am sure after the tough loss you suffered this week you will come to your senses and vote Democratic. I bet you can go to the courthouse Wednesday when during a break. Use a little acetone on those stickers,in addition to disolving the sticky stuff on the back you may get a little buzz on the side.

Did ya ever notice he talks a lot but never says HOW he is gonna change anything. I guess if a person is simple minded enough they would get all excited listening to Obama though.

I, too, am very surprised the organizers of the dinner allowed Faulk to have such a visible presence. They are family-oriented Christians, and they have to know Faulk's "values" are not the community's and are offensive to many who would be attending the dinner.

you should not be embarrised (sp) to remove his pin/sticker from your clothing. You paid for a good meal not to have a politician put his sticker on your clothing. reminds me of Bruce. Remember, he used to attend everything, whether he was invited or not. You went for the meal, hope you did get to enjoy it. I would have taken pleasure in removing his sticker and giving it back to the person that gave it to me. Stand up for who/what you believe in.

Vote for Williams, that would be the best way to tell Ron Ramsey/Mike Faulk what you think.

Yeah I remember old Bruce barging in uninvited everywhere kinda like Faulk. I still wonder if the Black Community invited him down there. That really bothers me if they are supporting Republicans. I have campaigned hard in this district but did not think that I had to court the African American voters around here. I guess they have the right to change if they want. Raven, I am waiting for youn to tell me a program that the Republican party started that benefits common man.
