Rednecks in the Walmart lot

Why on earth do these young people need to dwell in this particular lot? I can never get through because they all park there trucks everywhere!

You can't get through? They don't park in the road... Learn to drive?

They are a bunch of jobless losers who have nothing better to do.

they are not jobless and they dont bother anyone beter than them been on drugs fuss about the ones selling drugs in the parking lot

well ive lived here for 4 years and ive never knew to ask the kiddos in the walmart lot for a bag of weed...and here ive been driving to johnson city...ahhh shit

well our kids in these days have hardly nothing else to do besides set and chat with there friends and just cause they sit in parking lots dont mean they sell or do drugs not all kids need a fix to have a good time. some that sit in that parking lot do work they work at walmart

There's guys and girls that are well over their teen years that hang out there half the night. There's a couple of guys that are in their late 20's and early 30's hanging out with teenage girls and partying thats just wrong!

Yeah I enjoy sneaking around trying catch a peek just like you but I'm getting too old to stay up half the night.

Walmart is a place to shop, not a place to loiter. These people with nothing better to do than take up space in a public area until late hours of the night really need to rethink their lives. I don't even understand why they are allow to be there. If management at Walmart had a little bit of sense they would put a stop to this. If enough people started complaining I guarantee this would stop really quick.

hanging in parking lots is a traditional passtime here and has been for decades. anyone who grew up here knows this as there isnt and hasnt been much else to do in there area. on the other side is that is where drugs sales and other undesireable activities goes on. and of course there is the boy who was shot and killed in that lot a few years ago. everything has a pro and con, people have to be somewhere!

You would think its nothing but a bunch of teenagers but no theres a few grown people (supose to be grown)thats selling our children drugs in these parking lots. Frankie Benton and Tina Davis have both been charged with meth and other things but they are out on bond hanging out in the parking lot. Lock these people up and keep them.

You don't have to buy drugs if you are in the parking lot whether your a youngster hanging out or an old gray haired shopper. Give these loafers a few years and they'll be old whiny miserable people that hate to see anyone else simply enjoying life.

I remember when I was 16 all the young kids and young adults drove very nice cars or trucks, the only thing that mattered were there vehicles. We had numerous car clubs but the only thing we ever heard was go home, get out of this parking lot, I can't drive through town at 10:00 because its too crowded. Well first of all if you didn't think they should be out at 10 then why were you. My whole point in saying this is look around you got your wish your lucky to find 20 cars hanging out all over town when there used to be 100 at big lots alone. Noone cares about there cars anymore they want there fix and that's all that matters. Yet here I happen to see this on topix and you still complaining about the same old things. Yes I'm sure drugs get sold in each and every parking lot in the world but the fact is its mostly just kids doing the only thing rogersville has to offer and that is set and talk.

Most have grew the hell UP and don't spend their time and money in cars and trucks riding around and around. Yes, there are a few "slow" people riding around and sitting in parking lots..but just look who they are...you have boys and girls form 15,16 yr's old to older men around 50 yr's old in the blue corvett to older hags looking for pills.

The younger generation tries to revive the lost art of conversation and the older people are envious of this return to civilization. These youngsters are paying for the social security and medicare you retired people receive. You should stop and thank them for their support.
