I just washed my cell phone in the washing machine, full cycle. Usually(always) put it on the counter next to my keys. Left it in my jeans, which I NEVER do, took jeans off and threw them in the washer with other items. Got to missing it and used land line to call number-----nothing. Later remembered where I last had it----in the jeans pocket. It was viberating and getting hotter and hotter. Lost everything on it. The face was floating in water. Had to print out a 6 month phone bill to get numbers. Didn't know anyone's number. Had to guess and 4 or 5. Will have to call other numbers that printed out to see who they belong to.
How did you destroy your cell phone?

My husband's phone fell out of his overall's top pocket as he was flushing the toilet at work. The amazing thing is that his still worked for a while. The fellas at work thought it was hilarious to call it and hear the gurgling ring while he was taking the toilet apart to get it out. (He works maintenance, so it was his job to retrieve it.)

When I worked at Cooper...I was going from 2nd shift to 3rd & one of the gals on 2nd decided to wrap my car in brown paper towels as my "going away" gift (yeah...completely wrapped from underneath in loops lol) After work that night...some of us were ripping it off...my purse fell over next to my car. I THOUGHT we had picked all my things up.......til I heard a "crunch" as I was pulling out. Yep...we picked every thing up except for my cell phone that landed right underneath my tire..lol

That going away gift cost me $50 for insurance to get me another phone. lol

I destroyed mine by not paying the bill. Now I don't have to hear bill collectors calling :)

I used to work at long john silvers when i was in high school and i always kept my phone in my back pocket well one day i was walking to the back dish room and i slid on some ice in the floor in front of the ice machine and fell flat on my butt and crushed my phone. It cracked the front screen but it actually still sorta worked, at least long enough for me to order a new one. Funniest part of the whole story....i had a phone shaped bruise on my butt for weeks! lol

I went to the Chop House in Kingsport one day. Ordered me some spinach dip to go. I was heading back home and talking on my phone and eating spinach dip. As I got finished with my phone conversation - I laid my phone down in the passenger seat. After about 5 minutes I was ready to take another bite when I looked down to find my cell phone lying in my spinach dip. It was covered with melted cheese and spinach. The cheese was in the buttons, the speaker and the mouth piece. Totally destroyed my phone.

In a moment, hummmmmmm, of pure anger, I have found that a "wooden meat tenderizer", will do the best job, and then again, I had 2 matching cell phones that were involved, uuummmm, in a traffic accident, where they were the victims of the 15 inch tires of a chevrolet cavalier, now, I have no phone, neither does he, and that's a good thing!
