How is the new restaurant, East Side Grille

I will never return again. The buffet was horrible.
Food was not good and overpriced for what was on there.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I've been there twice and I'll never go back. The first time was when it first opened and I thought I would give them some time to fix the problems, and now I went there today and it was still bad. Never going back again.

Exactly what is wrong with the place? not trying to be smart but just wanting examples.....

It wasnt bad,i ordered the prime rib.it really didnt look like prime rib though

It's better than Amis Mill as far as prices and not having your food burned to a crisp. Plus the owners treat their employees better.

Look at the health score it's bad

health score is better now check it out food is good i have ate there a few times everything was good.I have also seen return customers so it must be good.

Wasn't what I expected. Not home cooking at all. The potatoes were instant. Chicken tasted freezer burnt. Jackie spent all her sad husbands money on this??????????

Very bad experiance.... had a new york strip and got a small piece of ribeye that taste like a piece of charcoal ate one bite and threw it away wife had hawaiin chicken she ate one bite and tossed it the rolls were hard on top and gooey on the bottom the lady beside me couldnt eat her steak either.... i ended up paying 28 bux for 2 side salads and was told they hoped i give them another chance! Dont see that happening

You mean to tell you complained, didnt eat the main courses and they still charged you?

They should have made it right and done so right then.

Everything this town is about is complaints. At least the one that has opened this restaurant is not afraid of a challenge. i know several people who have become regulars. If your food isnt right then you apparently didnt ask for it to be taken from your bill. All this forum is, is a batting session. The food me and my family have had has been wonderful, friendly staff and a warm and wonderful atmosphere.

My husband and I went there alng with our son and his girlfriend. It took us 45 minues to get our food and then it was cold.They were already out of ribs and steaks when we got there (9-ish) I know it takes awhile to build a good rep where food is concerned but honestly I won't go back. I was so hoping for a change in Rogersville, but I will stick to Mickey Ds for now.

We have not eaten there, because of these threads on topix, and because everyone we have talked to, recommends we go elsewhere. Wish they had done a little more planning before they opened.

ate there and liked it very much . It will get better as time goes on.

not sure when you te there but we ate fri and sat night. They were not ou of anything we had steaks frday night and they were delicious and sat we had the ribs and salad bar they were just as good. There is alot of negative comments but if you havent tried it give them a try itis really good.

I have only visited this restaurant 1 time but unsure if I will visit again. I ordered hawaiian chicken. Normally you have pineapple on top of chicken breast on top of rice. I received a plate of what looked like oatmeal. There was mushy rice, with little tiny pieces of I think was chicken and little tiny pieces of pineapple mixed into it. It was pretty bad. The salad was pretty good though.

Am just wondering, did you complain? how are they handling complaints...just wondering. I havent been but if it is this bad....not sure i will ever go.

The people who work there seem to enjoy their jobs, & show an eagerness for this restraunt to succede. I have herd that the owner is a wonderfull lady to work for. So many people on here are trying to put this business down with out even giving it a try for themselves. Cant please everybody all the time. I myself enjoy going to different places to eat. I go back to these places to try different things on their menus. Plus when it comes to home style cooking, each cook, cooks things a little different than the other & that's what makes it unique. dont judge by someone elses opinion, judge for yourself.:o)

We will not return. Food was cold and not that good. Owner should took more time to get things in order before opening.
