I finish in 2004 but there are alot of university and college that do not accept diploma from continental academy because they say the was not accerdited. The only university i know accept is Ashford university and south university,phoniex university good luck to everyone who attended there.

I dont care what they say they are not accredited and you will find out the truth when your child trys to go to college. They will lie to you they did me. How christian is that? Im so sorry for the kids that want to better themselves its not fair. Be careful!!!!!!!!

Honestly that's not true, because i just apply in march 2012 when it was sale, lol am almost done with my course the school actually down the street from me and its a credit my friend just got her diploma and enter in a good college. U can use it anyways if Miami Dade College that that diplomas it means the school credit and a good one to have i don't know where u heard that from I call customer service every other day and they never told me nothing like that.

Continental Academy is a real school and Accredited I live in Miami the school located in Mirmar its really a school where kids go to. They just helping the people that doesnt have there diploma My friend got her's and she goes to FIU. Whats your problem with ya people. Miami Dade College take the diploma. I also received a so called diploma from Continental back in 03. Last year I enrolled in south university and they accepted it but some dumbass in admissions messed up and like the 2week at school I got yanked out of class by my advisor letting me know they made a mistake and that they would allow me to finish up the quarter there but afterwards I would have to get my ged if I wanted to continue there. I have talked to many of schools and they all say the same shit..this school is a freaking scam just trying to get money. Fml...but if anyone has in good news for me about which schools will accept this pos diploma please share the wealth! And also they are not accredited! If its not reconginze by the department of educations then its fake!!!

I graduated in 2003. A lot of these schools that people on here are saying accept it I've tried and they don't. Guess It's the year that makes the difference I don't know.

I've spoken with a local college in my area and what they have told me is, if you received a diploma from coninental academy between 2004 to Jan 2010 they will accept it. The reason being is, they were sacs accredited between those years. So anything before 2004 and after 2010 no college will even bother to talk to you unless you get your GED.
Hopefully this will help some of you. Continental Academy is a rip off and a scam of a school. I hope this place gets shut down!!!!

great comments i also finish C.A in aug 2010 and i also got drop from my C.C anyway i do see its like a half and half thing that i have been reading i guess it has to do with the yr u got your dp and the school i was told by my fl C.Collage that noone in the state of fl will accept it so hell maybe i will relocate lol. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY LIST OF SCHOOL THAT WILL ACCEPT OR WERE CAN I RESEARCH

Continental academy is a fraud. It is accredited but it does't seem to matter because not even Walter State will accept a diploma from there.
That's what my neighbor found out after paying her monthly fee for several months and getting her diploma. And by the way, it was actually a guidance counsler from Cherokee who recommended it!

I don't know what is really going on with it. I got my HSD from Continental Academy in 2009. But then and now mine is considered a full hsd and not like a ged. I can get into every college that I have talked with. Although I started going with my 2 best friends and they were not able to finish until 2010 and they can't even get into our hometown little school with it but I can. That's what I know about it.

I'm happy to hear u got into a school with having a diploma from contional. Because I'm very interstead in continuing mine. Considering I to did graduate from contional. N to find out it is a scam because I got turned down from three Coleges im from Milwaukee. Very disappointed n hurt because I'm a 33 year old women with 3 kids n I do noe feel worthless. But u gave a lil hope Kaplan was not one of the schools I called so there for tomorrow I'm try there n hopefully close to my dreams. Thank u for ur post. Because of it at least I have a hope.
