I am researching my family tree. My maternal grandmother's maiden name was France. My mother Martha Davis Jones was born and raised in Bassett. Her mother's name was Belle France Davis. Bell' parents were John France and Lucy Via France. I have hit a dead end on John and Lucy.
I would like to know if I have other France relatives here. Keenan France was featured in the Martinsville Bulletin as being selected to play in the American Band. This got me wondering...
