Costco Pulls Offensive "Lil' Monkey" Doll Off Shelves

It figures someone would make this a racist thing.

Why is it that every little thing is instantly a "race" issue? Personally, I'm tired of having this kind of crap slung around all the time. I'm even more upset with companies like Costco that give in to this! I remember years ago the problem was that all the dolls were white...I think Premium Saltine Crackers should change their name to something that does not refer to "southerners" or "whites"...How ridiculous can we get? It's obvious that if a race other than caucasions find something offensive then everybody breaks their neck to appease them. So I am asking, where are my rights? If people act on each and every opinion or imagined slight then we would all be sitting inside our locked doors afraid to even step outside and contribute or participate in any truly valuable activity!

Some people have nothing to do in life but play the Race game, cry,cry, cry, get a life and leave the toy alone!!!!

Really I mean Really. I am White and my sons nickname is Baby Monkey Monk. You really need to get a life it is a very cute doll that comes with a monkey. So it would be okay if the white baby was label Lit Monkey. I get sick of everything having to be about color. It is a toy. I could understand if it said something or came with a gun and said drive by. but it is a very cute doll with a very cute monkey. So stupid.

Oh gosh... they scared me before with the seafood mess, now this? Costco is a great company, but like many nationwide businesses it can have some weak spots.
