Being that I am from Rockport, IN., but now live in OK., it is hard for me to get information of my families past.

I belong to the Newspaperarchives.com , but they never had anything about Rockport and surronding area.

I like to be able to go back....way back to the beginning when Rockport first started to publish newspapers and be able to get births, deaths, notices, articles etc.

I've used the library, but not all info is available to them either.

For example, I am looking on who lived on Lincoln street in 1880, to see if my folks lived there.

We live too far away to jump into the car and run to Rockport, it is a ten hour trip one way.
So How can I obtain or do you have a Internet site where I can log on and get information?

I'm compiling genealogy on the Morris family.
So I need definately obits, births and death notices, and where they lived and what Morris is related to another Morris.

Just a tidbit here, I graduated from Rockport in 1956. Still miss the old homestead, but life moves on and families move around to all point of the world.
