Kudos to the Rockmart cops

My aunt arrived in town around 3:30am, here for her brothers funeral, her husband went the wrong way on 278. The nice cops stopped them, and escorted them to a motel, she said they were very nice, and helpfull. Thanks guys, see not all cops are bad, like some of you think.

What's this I hear about a dude gettin arrested at one of the schools last week for just trying to walk in and pick his kiddo up?

what is this about somebody being arrested for picking his own kid up? I've heard some dumb stuff before but this is new.

The person parked his car and walked into the school at the same time the school was letting out. He wanted his child but then became irate and was cursing in front of teachers and students when he was told to get back in the school line. This person had been doing this all year but apparently the school decided to put a stop to it this time. He wasn't taken into custody but did get a ticket for disorderly conduct.

all this in front of students? Way to go admins

If everybody would put their kids on the bus there wouldn't be so much traffic for one and also, these kids would start learning to be independent.

That's not the way the story is according to The Polk Fish Wrap. The parents are supposed to be at the school board meeting Tuesday.
