why is it news when a convicted murderer kills a convicted child molester? both of them worthless, with no redeeming factors what so ever. oh i'm sorry, he got his GED in prison, with tax payer money, 3 hots and a cot so we should all feel good about him and ourselves as a society. group hug everybody. i'm sorry i came in late in the conversation because i was at walmart buying kleenex and writing paper because there isn't enough money in the budget for my child's school to provide such things.

Um it cost us approximately 25,000 dollars to house a inmate a year. He was 53 with a 400 year sentence. Lets say he lived till 90 thats 37 years 25,000 dollars a year...um u do the math!

I am glad to know that Matt will never be released now. Matt deserves to rott in his cell. My Mom and Barbara (Matt's Mom) were very close friends. My Mom still has nightmares about the horror Matt put Barbara through the night of her death. He is not a nice guy and never has been. I am surprised that he has lasted this long anyway...

The child molester that was killed had 400 years, not the inmate that killed him. He had 25 to Life. Duh!!!!

Terrible shame his mother couldn't see him kill another human being.

But then again, he killed a CM, so I don't mind that part at all. How convenient that I find it okay, doesn't say much...I have a child and wouldn't mind finding more of their kind dead.

Not really a homie hero. Killing molesters isn't like killing a a rival gang member or cop. Sounds like he was in PC anyway if he was living with the molesters.

What Matt did a long time ago was not forgivable. The other inmate that was stabbed was a child molesting rapist sicko. As far as i'm concerned, if he can make the world a better place by killing people like that, GO! MATT!!! Nbody else gets to.

You People Are Sick!

I remember this guy from high school. He seemed like a troubled kid. I saw him crying (literally) one day and felt kind of bad for him. The guy who helped dump his mom in the Rocklin quarry was getting his hair cut right next to me at Brockway hair design one day only a couple of years after the incident. Crazy. Anyhow, I heard his mom was horrible to him and was a tweaker. Which is no excuse...but I think he definitely had a troubled childhood.
