Hi there,
I'm new to this site but I was wondering if anyone has sighted large wild cats over the years. I've, myself, sighted one years ago in a neighbors yard while waiting for a delivery truck early morning (7AM). If I'm correct, the year was 2000 and the cat was a shiny black with a long tall and it seemed to walk across their backyard in a "crouching" position as if it was stalking. I seriously wouldn't be surprised if they're were large cats in the area because I'm sure there are plenty of deer for a food source, rural areas( Great Cedar Swamp . Plus a water source for them to drink out of. But if anyone has has any sightings, experiences and vocalizations, please, post them. Thanks :)

My son saw something with that exact description yesterday! He said it came out of the woods in our backyard just for a few seconds. He said it wasn't huge but definitely was too big to be a housecat, too sturdy. Last summer there the kids were camping out back there and heard what sounded like a wild cat fighting with another animal. I've seen deer and turkeys back there, and I'd love to see this animal! We live in Manomet (South Plymouth).

I have seen large coyotes, turkeys and red deer here in Kingston.
