Do you have children at Musselman High School? If so you may want to ask them if they have been bullied and how far it has went. Students are complaining to anyone they can about being bullied and they brush it off. The ONLY way I, as a student there have gotten anything done is by threatening to take legal action on the school if the situation was not dealt with. Bullying is an issue that I have faced since elementary school, and kids can be cruel. I tried ignoring it my whole life, then in high school I became violent because of the bullying and now I've changed for the better and now I am standing up for people who get bullied. The truth is though, as bad as this is to say, the school just does not care. They take it to lightly. I was belittled, humiliated, and made to feel worthless. I have even been told to kill myself before. Some teens take their lives over stuff like this. My English inclusion teacher said to me "get over it, it happens to everyone," as a mother you would think she would want to protect children, no she allowed it to happen to the point that my class had to be changed. Even today one of my peers said she was going to take her life and she was told "to stop being irrational, and to stop acting that way" Who looks at a student and says things like that?! With all that being said if YOU have children there, talk to them, they may be getting bullied themselves.
