Haven't been following it much since I went away to school, how does it look like the teams are shaping up this year for RP and Tarkio?

I am happy to report that you are only 1/2 correct here! Tarkio currently has nearly 20 students out for wrestling, 5 of which are Female..this is where I presume you heard the number 5. While I am not completely sure of the correct spelling and might have missed a teen or 2 the list is as follows:
Marc Stillwell, Johnathon Stout, Shadie Beeson, Tyler Brown, Dakota Crawford, Dalton Wooten, Jessie Mutchler, Andrew Sloop, Chris Sloop, Trey Graves, Tyler Mitchel, Philip Merrit, Francis Batista, Anna O'Connel, Maggie O'Connel, Michelle Sharp, Steven Oppie, and a young lady named Lacey of whom I can not recall the last name. This is a great lineup of young people and I for one am anxious for the season to get up on its feet. It would be awesome to go to State this year, and I truly believe this group has the potential!

Tarkio has 26 out. 21 of them are 9th and 10th graders. They wont be awesome this year but in a couple of years they will be.The program is alive and well.

Rock port will have a really good team this year

I know that Johnathon Stout is a tough kid, I was doing martial arts with him before MSHSA told him he wasn't allowed to or he wouldn't be able to compete in sports.

Right now Stout is wrestling but he is JV until he cuts to a lower weight

Sir, you are incorrect on this matter. Johnathon is currently weighing in at 158, he will cut to 152 and maybe a little lower, he has the B.M.I. factor to do so if he chooses. He can not wrestle 160 because that slot is already taken by the Sloop boy and they both can not do it, as you well know.
He is not J.V. at this time, unless he was moved to J.V. from Varsity and we were not made aware of it. Either way he will compete to the best of his abilities and will hopefully go on to state this year.
Johnathon loves wrestling and is working very hard to cut weight and be in prime shape for his meets..as are all the young men and women out this season. I am very proud of our team this year and wish them ALL the best of luck!
