I am sad that Greece Ny has become famous for its poorly raised teens and its lax laws.

Go ahead and commit crimes in Greece Ny, if you are under 18.....we are sure you didnt mean it.

There there Athena 4, we will protect you from the public outcry.

Let the school enforce the law? Do they have holding cells now?

It's curious that someone, in the seat directly across from her, sat there the whole time doing nothing but filming the action with their phone camera.

This woman is someone's mother, grandmother, sister, daughter or friend. The behavior of these little bastards is vile and cruel! Where do they learn to behave like that? Don't they have any sense of shame, empathy or guilt?

I think this story has been blown out of proportion; it's local TV news. There probably hasn't been a single person in this forum who hasn't been bullied like that at least one time in their life.

That said, I wish she had pepper sprayed the kids.

The Parents!!!!! I've witnessed first hand accounts of peoples children disrespecting other adults at the parents condoning. Yes!
If my kids ever disrespect an adult....doesnt matter who the adult is, my kids would never hear the end of it. They would have to apologize IN PERSON!!!! These folks up here are.......... It must be something in the air or water.

It might also be that if you are caught chastising or embarrassing your kids in public, social services will take your kids away … and charge you.

Look at how many offenses in the news about parents leaving their kids in the car to pay for gas, and end up getting charged with reckless endangerment.

We are afraid to raise our kids because of the fear (real or imagined) that some busybody with authority may armchair quarterbacking your parenting decisions.

Then you better tell RFCBF what you just posted. Because about 5 or 6 months ago, he told nickbo on Topix, "that it is wrong to teach your children tpo respect, their elders and the police". You brtter givre him a "what for" ASAP.

That is true, but there are many cases where a well brought up child turned out bad. A parent can't control a child when the child is away from the parent. What these kids did was very wrong. I was taught to respect my elders, so I did. Besides I knew if I didn't, there would be "hell to pay for". My ass would have been grass and my father would have been the lawn mower.

That was the mature thing to do, apologize. They're still in trouble, but they did the right thing by saying they are sorry. I think they learned their lesson and I think other kids will think twice before they pull a stunt like that.

That person is not "female", she's a polite lady. Those little bastards should have been sawed in half with large caliber pistol fire.

That's a truly frightening thought. I am at the age where most of these kids are old enough to be my grandchildren. I vividly remember when I talked back to an adult neighbor I could hardly sit down for a week. I caught my son making fun of a woman and I grabbed his ass and made him apologize to her face. He never did it again! Things have changed so much! If you listen to (c)rap 'lyrics' you can see where some of this behavior is coming from! Most normal himans have some empathy for others but these kids seem to be lacking in an important quality.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Leo

This is a good day for concentrating on activities that boost your self-esteem and sense of satisfaction. Do the very best job you can manage, partly for your own sense of pride and partly because it's important for you that bosses and superiors know what you're capable of. There should be good news about a pay rise, perk or a new job that's in the pipeline.
