First of all, this is a human being. She has a family who loves her. Friends who love her. Sad when we as human beings can't show respect for others. We teach our children to look both ways when we cross the street. Not only for only for their safety, & our safety. But more so because so many idiots driving down the street don't pay attention. Doing way above the posted speed limit, unaware of their surroundings. God forbid if they are under the influence while behind the wheel. I pray for her quick recovery, for her & her family. I also pray that people who don't have the compassion to understand that she does have a loving and caring family can never have a experience like this. Hope this driver is caught, and faces charges. This driver obviously don't have any morals, or decency. What are we showing each other in this society. Again, my love, thoughts & prayers extend to her and her family!!!

If they got part of the truck, they should be able to figure out the make, model and year of the truck. Then they could compare it to DMV records and/or a better APB out on it.
Doesn't anyone in the RPD ever watch CSI???

That will teach her to stand in the middle of the road and that crosswalks should be used when crossing the road.

I wonder if there is anyway to find out how fast the cop was going, and if they will release that information?
