Working in health care sucks these days. Cutbacks, layoffs and more regulation. It is not possible to do the job of safely caring for the sick and elderly with no money and poorly trained staff. The government's programs are poorly run and poorly managed. Government thinks they are the savior for us, but they can't create and implement any programs so that they run properly. They are always a mess.

Dear Louis Slaughter... how many promises have been made by the Obama Administration and we are still in the same if not worse position than we were before.

Put a stop to runaway costs? This thing cost at least a trillion dollars and we know that is low. Who is going to pay for it? You and I with our jobs!God help us all.

I wonder how much abortions will cost once the Federal govt. starts paying for them. They won't be "FREE".......

Let me ask you this. Are you anti-choice? If so, then it's ok by you to have the gov't interfere in a medical decision that belongs between a patient and her doctor? Meanwhile, you expect the gov't to stay out of YOUR business? Hmm?

Cannot have it both ways.

One way or another, you'll be paying for it anyway.

I agree with that Health Insurance and the Pharmaceutical industry need to be rained in as they are our of control. Think you missed the point. I have no problem with some sort of regulation and social responsibility but I do have a problem with the government controling it when they already have control of the Financial and Automotive industries. Look at Social Security, it's basically bankrupt as a consequence to the governement treating it as a piggy bank. We're on the verge of Socialism. Once there there will be no turning back. I wont get pulled in to any name calling. That's not what I'm about. God Bless you.

It would be nice if someone would explain the details of this plan. There has been so much said (truth & lies), so much speculation, so much added and removed. WHAT IS THE BILL THEY PASSED?

And this concerns you why??????? Are you a woman who may need and abortion or the choice of having an abortion? Abortion rights have nothing to do with every American having health care.

You will care if your company (like Kodak) drops your health insurance or Medicare dies.

The plan we should be endorsing -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single-payer_hea...
http://www.pnhp.org/change/Public_Option_Myth...

The facts about the current option -
http://www.factcheck.org/2009/09/obamas-healt...

Forget the private health insurance propaganda, all they care about is money not you.

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Pisces

If you want to make the best of the day you should lock yourself away and work on your own. This will make it easier to concentrate, especially if you're trying to focus on something that's fiddly or difficult. If you've got something on your mind at the moment it will be worth having a quiet word in someone's ear because they'll help you to get things into their proper perspective.
