I'm sure the parental supervision was adequate.

Instead of saying that you hope that the child is ok, you need to bring up section 8 housing ?

I hope that the boy is ok. Accidents happen.

Where is the section 8 housing on Center Street? Center is a short street consisting of businesses (Smokehouse, Adam Miller's, etc.)

He's probably the kind of person who couldn't care less if he runs over a toddler on the way to work, but gets all upset and screems "what about the children!!" if somone says "poop" on TV.

Okay, the Rochester channels have it all wrong...The Batavia Daily News website says that it happened on Central Ave, which makes more sense than Center St. It also says he was taken by ambulance to the hospital, and has already been released. That may be a case of confusion, considering the new ambulance service in our county is Mercy Ambulance, run by the same group that does Mercy Flight.

I know the parents had a fit about it. It must have been really scary for the boy and parent(s). Good luck to both.

"""Police are releasing only limited details about the incident"""

I wonder if that gives a hint of the race of the family??

If it was in the City Of Rochester, the RPD would have already arrested the parent and released their name and picture.

That is a scary thing. I have always been concerned with my children, and now grandchildren falling out a window from the second floor. As parents, most parents are cautious about these things. Accidents do happen though. No one wants this to happen.

Whoever brought up the subject of Section 8...it has NOTHING to do with this.

Either you care and are concerned for the little one who fell, or you don't care. If you are a person who doesn't care, you should stay off the subject.

Find a subject of interest that you can say something upbuilding about.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for that miracle. People can be pretty petty and evil.

True, there are evil people out there. There are some parents who don't give it a thought UNTIL something like that happens, But majority wise, I feel, no one wants their children to fall out a second floor window.

Even bad things happen to little kids in the City.
Let's hope this kid recovers and doesnt remember this.
Parents, make sure your window tracks are secure and safe. Try not to place things like furniture where they can climb up and have access to open windows.
Luckily this didnt turn tragic like with Eric Clapton's son.

Sure, but it isn't a trama center. Standard practice is to take the injured to the nearest hospital to be stablized, then moved to a trama hospital for any more specialized care.

You'd think white people would keep a better eye on their kids, but their white, what can you expect?

The police will hide all the information and no-one will be held accountable, unlike how black people always are.
