At first I was against the theater. Then I changed my mind when I found out that they were going to have hand puppets. I like hand puppets.

Level the block, put in some planters and benches and picnic tables and trees and such. It would be much cheaper, look a heck of a lot nicer, easier to maintain and make a real nice place for surrounding residents to enjoy. We have enough theaters, plenty of other space for MCC and the busses don't really cause any severe problems that I have seen.

In many of my conversations about this project,I have hardly come across anybody in favor of it. If it was put to a vote by the citizens of Monroe County I'd say 75% or more would be against it. Mayor Duffy you have increased ten-fold the number of people who respect & admire you for speaking out against this project. All I know is that if you ran for County Executive you'd win hands down cause you wear your heart & open gov't on your sleeve & while Ms. Brooks runs a Monarch type gov't that makes you wonder who in the back room is profiting from her helm. Just keep in mind Mayor you'd still be helping the city as a County Executive & bringing trust back into the county gov't & region !

Brooks must have potatoes growing in her ears if she can't hear everyone saying "WE DON'T WANT THIS!" Give it up Maggie!

Maybe ROBUTRAD will get Maggie fired - we can only hope!

I've seen the news conference, I've read the statement, I've no longer got any reservation or doubt. The shift in your my way , take me, bring me, buy me attitude is all of it. Desperation doesn't become you maggie. But it's nicer to watch than your brazen immitation of Leona Helmsley of the past. I am so glad we have Mayor Duffy...at least he asks the questions and doesn't fold...look at the ferry, what a mess that was and is!
