The landlords interpose themselves between the pharisees who widen their liberal philacteries and the poor that they give gratuitous well balmed lip service to.

I have seen other posters suggesting a peaceful picket at these two scumbags personal residence. I think everyone should take an hour or two out of there lives and sit in front of there residence in North Oaks. If not for anything, at least that human beings should not be allowed here or anywhere in the Twin Cities to be treated like these two miscreants treat people.

Side note for political nut cases. I voted Republican last election and I Support public financed stadiums.

WWhat about thr trnants who damages thr proprety?? OH no Just put the landlord
in the spot light. How many trnants destroy the units. And noone does anything about it.
The newspaper just blame the landlord for all the problems. The tenants do no wrong.
I have tenants that do $1000.00 dollars damage and noone cares. It my fault .
Public housing have damages uniys too. About reporting on that.
Or About the plow drivers making $85.00 for the firdt six hours, the double time.
and thay cann;t get closed to the curb. No just pick on landlord. Or how about
city council take away house for homr owners ?? No just pick on the landlord.
The report do not about the city or home owners rights. Give the tenants a free
ride. They do nothing . It the landlord fault. The reporter need to go the housing court and check out thins.

Can tell you have never been to North Oaks, You are not allowed on the roads in North Oaks, much less set up a protest. North Oaks roads are private roads for the rich and snooty, no tresspassing

Your post just goes to show you anyone with half a brain can be a landlord. This is not about every landlord in town -- just these two slimy scum. If being a landlord is so difficult, get out. I'm guessing your tenants wouldn't be terribly unhappy.

I would love to protest but you would be doing it on Highway 96 because nobody is allowed inside North Oaks. I suppose picketing at the entrance and exit to North Oaks would be okay. Embarassing them in front of their neighbors.

Bankruptcy lets these creeps off the hook. Instead prosecute them under Federal RICO laws, as what they are doing is a conspiracy to defraud. Throw them in jail and throw away the key!@

All this lanldord tenant crap is just another dfl scheme to transfer wealth under the guise of code enforcement. Make the landlord afford poor people a place to live that they could not afford only on their income. If they want someplace perfect to live in let them get another job and buy a new house like the rest of us did.
Hey Stupo- I was waiting to move into my custom built home many years back, and had to rent an apartment for a few months as my other house sold and I needed a place to live waiting for the other. I moved into a nice place, and within a month the apartment flooded with 3" of water and the management company didn't think this was a rush. I did.

There's riff raff out there and there's people just wanting a place to live, that's safe, quiet and maintained. Check the blood flow to your brain, obviously it's not getting there. Your dumb*&$ scenario doesn't fit everybody, nor do your politics.

What part of this article makes you think the slimy landlords have been treated unfairly?

Authors Mohr and Webster have done their job nothing more to be said, they exposed two useless imported scum bags from another country who have come to Minnesota only to exploit the poorest people in our society. Now it's up to the communities in which the two scum bags have property and the law too handle them, if there is not enough teeth in the current law to deal with them, then amend and pass a law that would take care of the problem.

why would anyone want to live here?

when you rent an apartment, don't you look around, maybe talk to some people already living there?

I thought adults made adult decisions. Adults should realize that this is a dump, and when everyone moves out, the owners will either change things drastically, or simply go broke. Market Forces!

I guess some people are sheep and need the government to tell them what to do.

Take their pretentious homes in snobby North Oaks and use the cash to repair the buildings so that they are livable.

Let these scum live in some slumlord's apartment buildings.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Taurus

Be careful if you're supposed to be saving money, because it's likely to fly through your fingers in no time at all today. You're open to all sorts of delicious impulses now, such as splashing out your hard- earned cash on little treats or big purchases. Indulgence is the key here, and you'll also want to push the boat out if you're going to a restaurant for a meal. You'll work your way through the menu, regardless of the cost.
