This says women older than 50 are LESS likely to have dense breasts, which is associated with higher risk of breast cancer -- so that means younger women are at higher risk, which is the opposite of what we're being told.

Also, the assumption is that older women are likely to have "fattier" breasts because they're fatter overall -- but if 1/3 of women do NOT because they're NOT overweight, work out and are in good shape, then it's weight, physical condition and lifestyle that matters, NOT age per se.

There is so much age bias in the U S medical diagnostic community - women over 40 and then even more over 50 are all lumped together, obese sedentary ones with very active ones, it's very biased and leads to "one size fits all" tests and recommendations that hurt many women -- especially the ones who are doing all the RIGHT things to stay in shape. Asian medicine does NOT do this -- doctors diagnose the individual.
