A friend of mine had his motorhome catch on fire on I-90 near Stewartville early July 5th morning, the motorhome was a total loss but an even bigger loss were his four cats, he found the remains of two of them in the motorhome, However his many friends are holding out hope that the other two somehow managed to escape the fire and someone in the area will find them. Our Friend is understandably in grief, He lives in Algona Ia about 130 miles away. If anyone should find one or both of the long hair ragdoll cats (they are very shy, and probably scared)please contact me at Davecat@hotmail.com

I searched the remains of the motorhome and there are no animal remains inside. That suggests there is a possibility that 2 lost and terrified cats are in the Stewartville/Simpson/Marion area. The fire happened just west of Simpson on south side of the interstate along the east bound lane. I have left a poster with the Stewartvill Animal Clinic for identification purposes and they have my contact information. If found please rescue and contact me.
