Judged: 2 1 1 Three things happened in 1913. The FEDERAL RESERVE ACT. The 16TH AMENDMENT, PASSING OF THE FEDERAL INCOME TAX and the 17TH AMENDMMENT, PASSING OF THE ELECTION OF SENATORS BY POPULAR VOTE. The three combined have turned us into a basket case. The elitists did their job that year. The good years are gone now,the bad years are here. And they ain't going away so soon either. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Poor Larry you remain a disciple of the Muslim messiah lizard and you must be excused for being so dim witted, however I won't excuse anyone who is so poorly educated and blissfully ignorant as you. I mean this with total sincerity. Anyone who supports the Federal reserve and the Kenyan lizard and his handlers belongs in a padded cell for the rest of their lives. You are as UN-American as it gets. |

Judged: 3 3 2 Thats really funny because here is what has happened over the last few months. Ron Paul put out his Plan for America which stated that if he were elected he would bring the troops home and so Obama is. Ron Paul said he would also cut back on military expenses and so Obama is. Ron Paul also said he would cut back on some government departments and so Obama is. Now who is the puppet? |

Judged: 2 1 1 Here's some info on the total hypocritical JOKE that is Ron Paul .. ready? This might take several posts too! 1) He's a "strict constitutionalist" who doesn't get that it was designed to be a fluid document that could change with the times to adapt to challenges that the Founding Fathers never envisioned 225 years ago. 2) He said about Cain's 9-9-9 plan: "It's very, very dangerous. And it will raise more revenues," said Rep. Ron Paul of Texas. He's thinks raising revenues is a BAD thing? 3) He's a typical "Big Govt" kook who's pro-deregulation (due to his "free market" fetish) even though deregulation is EXACTLY what caused most of the fairly recent problems we're now dealing with - the financial crisis of 2008 and the Gulf disaster in the Summer of 2010. He favors a government so small as to not be able to protect its weakest citizens from the tyranny of the majority. Via his website http://www.ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/energy/ under the sub-heading "A PRO-ENERGY PRESIDENT" is the following: "* Remove restrictions on drilling, so companies can tap into the vast amount of oil we have here at home." 4) Like other republicans, he wants to abolish the EPA. Via his website http://www.ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/energy/ under the sub-heading "A PRO-ENERGY PRESIDENT" is the following: "* Eliminate the ineffective EPA." 5) Via that same link, he wants to abolish the federal tax on gasoline that helps fund what little infrastructure improvements we get in this country to save a few cents on gasoline we shouldn't even be using to power our cars at this point. Notice the "* Repeal the federal tax on gasoline. Eliminating the federal gas tax would result in an 18 cents savings per gallon for American consumers." Eliminating the oil speculators? Well that would save about 30 to 40% off the cost of a barrel of oil according to congressional testimony by Exxon Mobile's own CEO. http://www.youtube.com/watch ... 6) He thinks (assumes) people and entities and organizations (like Churches) will just volunteer their time and money when the govt's responsibility to "promote the general welfare" is reduced - without realizing that Churches get their money from people and people don't have money because deregulated corporations took a vast majority of it. 7) His strict (incorrect) interpetation of our constitution would give private businesses the right to deny any group it does not prefer access to anything it owns. The FEDERAL government has a role to play in ensuring that all sexes and races get a level playing field when it comes to the delivery of basic things NATIONWIDE - this is part of the very basis for the constitution in the first place as stated in the Preamble via "promote the general welfare". And I'm not done yet ... |

Judged: 2 2 2 9) He's also a neo-Confederate who feels the South was right in the Civil War ... you know the side with the slaves who attacked the side without the slaves in 1861? He's a proud member of the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, which has been labeled as a neo-Confederate organization. In a video on the pro-Confederate channel Patriot Review he gives a speech in front of a Confederate flag and claims that the North should have paid to buy slaves from southern slave owners to avoid the war, RATHER THAN the South renouncing slavery. He honestly believes that if Lincoln passed a law that abolished slavery that the South and it's rich plantation owners who got rich off of the labor of slaves would have just said "OK .... just buy our existing slaves from us and we'll be square". The likelihood that the South would peacefully, magically and elegantly transform itself based on a belief that blacks should be free, equal, productive citizens is a pure fantasy that only comes from ignorance, malice or senility. http://mybaltimorespirit.com/national/newsone ... Seriously? Buying slaves? That would break down either when it came time to name a price for those slaves (because the plantation owners would not only want what they paid for them initially but would want to be reimbursed based on the loss of future profits by the forced sale) or when it came time to approve the purchases by Congress. Legislative act? The South was convinced that a dark day was fast approaching, when the abolitionist president would find enough support in Congress to end slavery. Hence why 9 of the 13 states seceded prior to his inauguration. And that's before we get into the fights over the 13th Amendment, then the 14th Amendment, and then the 15th Amendment - all of which the South would have fought tooth and nail. 10) He thinks medicare and Social Security is unconstitutional and is against an EPA to make sure that people's right aren't violated by the pollution of companies that set up shop next door - in spite of his simplistic quote on page 1 of his book. Elliot Spitzer just ties him and his talking points in knots here when faced with real word applications of his libertarian philosophy. http://www.youtube.com/watch ... And I'm still not done ... |

Judged: 2 2 2 12) He scapegoats "Big Govt" FEMA for it's poor response, even though 1) it saved lives during Katrina, 2) despite it having to pick up the slack for the 3000 Louisiana National Guardsmen who were busy fighting in Iraq via a backdoor draft, and 3) despite it being led by incompetent morons - Dubya filled the top 3 or 4 spots in the agency with friends of his who helped get him re-elected even though they had ZERO prior experience in disaster planning or relief. 13) He wants to get rid of the Department of Education and thus the national standards that go along with that. And replace it with a willy-nilly mix of whatever the stare or local school boards think should be taught? What if you happen to live in an backwards area in Texas where the school board thinks that science is BAD and only Biblical "teachings" should be offered? Didn't we just witnessed the TX board of education's push to de-educated people into beliving that Thomas Jefferson DIDN'T want a separation of church and state? How would students graduating from that system compete in this global economy going forward where history can be skewed to indoctrinate the children into growing up as stupid conservatives? 14) He thinks ENDING student loans would make college MORE affordable and that supply and demand should determine who gets an education. He "hopes" that colleges will lower their costs if less people can afford college because the government won't fill in the tuition gap with loans. Did the price of gas go down when people started using less gas? Who will pick up the slack for the govt when it ends student loans? BANKS! He actually thinks banks will come to the rescue and save the day. Does he not realize that they had to be bailed out and still continue to screw people over after a bailout prevented another Great Depression? The people who are not from rich families, not sharp enough to get full scholarships, not poor enough to get government support, and have to work one or 1.5 jobs while trying to get good enough grades to pass their courses? If you are in the middle you are forgotten by his "plan". But if you're RICH ... then everything works out just fine! 15) On May 10, 2011, Paul said President Obama’s order to execute Osama bin Laden “was absolutely not necessary.” and that he should have worked with the incompetent and corrupt Pakistan to capture him instead.(http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/05/12/ro ... And there's still more ... |
