Ahhh, let's not forget that our Minnesota Native American Gaming Lobby gives quite a lot of lobby money to the republicans. That way no matter who is in control of the house/senate/governor they win. Remember Mr. Senjem from Rochester co-author of this bill, is a republican, and states, no money from the Racino will go to fund a new Vikings Stadium.
You're going to have to provide a source for this claim. I bet the Indians give less than $25,000 TOTAL to all Republican candidates in any given election cycle.

Does anyone have the balls to ask Dick Day what's he getting out of all of this ?
We should make a compact with him that states he gets no money or job. Is'nt
this the reason he quit being a congressman to get into the casino buisness? When
is Minnesotans going to get tired of these type of humans,he's greedy!Do you
really think this is about us?He's part of this "Dumbing down of America"!
What's the problem with Dick Day earning aiving? How many former legislators (they weren't in congress) do the Indians employ as lobbyists?

Enough is Enough, pass the bill, of course the Indians would be against, why should they get all the revenue of they do not have enough by now then something is wrong. This bill gives people the option of supporting the State or Indian Casino. As far as the Christian Conservatives are concerned WHO CARES. If this bill passes I would make sure that they don't get anything. Time to move forward poeple and give the state some revenue and jobs.

What happens to all the state lottery money?! It was supposed to go to "protecting wild life".
In all these years I have never seen a balance sheet for the Minnesota State Lottery, or heard where the piles of money were going and to who or what.
Maybe we should be insisting on laws demanding full public accountability for lotteries and government encouraged gambling before delving into more of it.

Wasn't Perpich a Republican? So including him in your statement makes no sense.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
