This is a warning to all residents in the town of Martinsville. There has been a rash of thefts throughout the town, taking mostly electronic devices from vehicles (although they've also taken a purse and wallet). It is believed the thefts are being conducted by a small group, roughly between the ages of 17-20 yrs old, and is occurring early in the mornings, likely between 2:00 & 5:00 a.m. Witnesses have claimed to see the group of 3-4 young men ratting the town during those hours. Anyone with any information or seeing this group should immediately contact either the Martinsville PD or the Clark County PD.
