The city council can also choose to nominate a replacement from the council, such as the mayor pro tem position, or even just keep the mayors position vacant until the next regular election. Most small towns on a tight budget would not want to spend 4k or more just to hold another election. And on a side note, how was the town misled and lied to exactly? Who he slept with was not the towns business, now was it? And in small towns, people quit the city councils all the time for personal reasons, such as health or business, so how is this so different? And how is this an example of bad genetics? Is that a racist comment? Sure sounds like it.

Daisy wrote: <quoted text> Moral behavior ? WooHoo.... do you know how many divorced women suspect their husband might have been having a "gay experience" , my guess is a lot of them. Why do husbands go out with their male friends so much ? Even with a loving wife at home ? Honey, they are either out with a woman, or another man. Rephrase that, tell the boys how to behave morally, if they understand what it means. I just had to reply to comment #40 on Jun 11, 2009. I just couldn't let this rabidly bigoted and sexist militant feminist alley cat go on this comment. First, it's a well known fact more females are openly gay or bisexual than men are. So partly because of that, American society just thinks it's a lot more acceptable for women to pair up than men. So much for women behaving more morally then men do in your eyes. Secondly, I can assure you that I know personally of MANY marriages broken up by WOMEN who leave their male partners for other FEMALES. And my sister's current on again, off again and on again girlfriend is a perfect example. And their relationship started because the "STRAIGHT" husband wanted a 3 way fantasy scene. I guess that really backfired in his face. And their 18 year old daughter was not very pleased, either. So I guess women really aren't any better at understanding this morals thing you unknowingly refer to than men are, huh. Thirdly, married men like to go out with other men for the same reasons married women go out with other women. There doesn't have to be a sexual element involved. That's just more sexist bigoted gay garbage you posted. Obviously the 2 sexes likes and dislikes are frequently the cause of a lot of marital problems. Men generally don't like Tupperware parties. Women generally don't like hunting. What delusional alternate moral reality are you really living in? So, "HONEY", you can now get down off your obviously sexist, feminist and gay bigoted "moral behavior" high horse now.

Their parents love and respect their children like any other parent would love their own "straight" child. I am very touched when I see the love and happiness between the parent and their gay son /daughter. Bless them all. And 80% of the kids they raise together turn out to be straight and the 20% that end up gay still have 2 same sex parents that love them just the same. Which happens to be the supposed national averages for gays and straights in the USA.

First off, his lover was an illegal immigrant that lied on federal forms to attend high school, then college. In a sense, he stole a college education from a kid that couldn't afford one by taking. Second, the mayor knew that his lover was illegal. The mayor then went ahead with the election. I'm talking about they gay gene, how did you get racism out of bad genetics?

Did God actually tell you that they are not his children? Hmmm... Gutterwatch, I really don't recall ever reading about you in the bible as one of God's judges. Maybe you used a different name in the bible..... like "hypocrite". But you still were not mentioned as his assistant.
