Kudos to all law enforcement that showed up to Va tech that day in april 2007. Especially the fat one who was as big in diameter as the tree he hid behind, while he wore level IV body armor and carried an M4 carbine...They are in it for the pay check and the image. How many entered the building and did a room to room sweep? zero! It's called being afraid.....

Just a note about an incident concerning roanoke police that never made the papers. Several years ago the police were called to a disturbance near my home. Some of the neighbors went outside to see why several police cars were on our street. One of the officers called us white trash while we were standing in our yards watching what was happening. It was reported to the police dept. and we got letters of apology from the Roanoke Police Dept. chief. I doubt if that letter did anyhing to change the attitude of that officer, or how he felt about the people he was paid to protect & serve. He did not come to apologize, and probably still has the same attitude towards what he considers "low class whites" who live in SE. I wonder what he thinks about our NW friends!

Until then, the police is backed and have the right to knock your teeth out and whip your ass! So why not grow up, act like an adult and you will have no problems!!!!!! You say that but you dont have a clue unless it happens to you or someone you know, that is just rude to start with the racist shit and name calling, so who needs to grow up here???

Does anyone know, speaking of dirty cops, why and when Roger Fuller "retired" from Roanoke City Police? I've seen, but not been involved in, many "drunks" being abused and even beaten in Rke. City Jail by "Officers" who are sworn to serve and protect. Who exactly are they protecting by mistreating drunks? Anyway, Roger Fuller was one of the very worst, most corrupt officers I've ever seen and would like some info. I heard that he was fired. Please, any info would be greatly appreciated.

My nightmare started about 2 yrs ago when I had an encounter with Detective Glen B Ford from Narcotics/Vice unit of the Roanoke City Police Dept. Due to a previous criminal record I thought it was in my best interest to cooperate with the police dept in exchange for "unsupervised probation" at my sentencing. After numerous email exchanges and 2 face to face meeting as well as phone call exchanges sentencing day came around. I received 6 months in jail. That's what I got for my cooperation. Detective Ford did not keep his word to me, all he said was "not my fault". Never cooperate with police! Everything turned out in the end with an appeal but I should have never had to go thru that had Detective Ford kept his word.
I have since talked to many officer's from many different jurisdictions across the country all saying the same thing..."when you have a source, that is cooperating with you, you go the ends of the earth to protect that source." Detective Ford did anything but...
I now have a high level job that has some power and no longer afraid to speak out. I also work with a group that supports police injustices. I'm very lucky, since I was able to save all the email exchanges and able to show those in my lectures. As I tell everyone, "DOUCMENT" everything! Be prepared for Harassment and bogus charges too. Sorry but it happens all the time. Tell as many people as possible. Start a blog, post it everywhere. Use names, so it will show up in a simple google search. Social networking is great!

I should also add...
When all this happened I posted my story on several web sites (member only) in the end reminding everyone NOT to cooperate with Law Enforcement and to always Lawyer up.
I have since heard, that my warnings did heed well...Many have received deals they would have not normally received if they had not played hard-ball. They all showed their lawyers and LE a print out of my post/story of what happened to me. I am sure at this moment there is a lot of DA's across the country that would love to have a word or 2 with The Roanoke Police Dept. In the end, who gets the last laugh!!!
Always remember...Any postings you make come under Freedom of speech

Lizzy, it sounds to me like you became a snitch. If I were you I wouldn't put it out there like this. If someone that you helped to put behind bars finds you, it is your own stupid fault and you deserve whatever happens. Snitches belong in ditches. If it wasn't for snitches the jails would be mostly empty because the cops certainly couldn't catch anyone on their own.
