UPDATE..........

Police: Girl accused of robbing mom tied to teens in Roanoke murder

04:57 PM CDT on Thursday, October 2, 2008
By WENDY HUNDLEY / The Dallas Morning News
whundley@dallasnews.com

Roanoke police acknowledged for the first time today that there is a connection between a 15-year-old Fort Worth girl accused of robbing her mother at knifepoint, and three teenagers accused of killing a woman who was the mother of two of the suspects.

The 15-year-old, like the three capital murder suspects, attended Northwest High School and was the former girlfriend of one of them, police said. She is at the Tarrant County juvenile detention center after her mother told authorities she awoke about 7 a.m. on Sept. 23 to find her daughter standing over her holding a knife.

Her name was not immediately available.

The three teens accused of capital murder were in Denton County today after being stopped by authorities in South Dakota on Sunday. They were in the car of Susan Bailey, 43, who was found dead in her Roanoke home on Sunday.

Her daughter, Jennifer Bailey, 17, was arraigned this morning after arriving at the Denton County Jail about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday night, said Tom Reedy, a spokesman for the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.

Jennifer Bailey She has been charged with capital murder. No bond has been set.

The two other youths facing the same charges – Jennifer’s 14-year-old brother and her 16-year-old boyfriend – are being held in the Denton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The teens were held in a juvenile detention center in Sioux Falls, S.D. before being transported back to Texas.

Police said earlier this week they don’t know what prompted the attack.

Oh I know. Some people in their state of denial. Also heard that they are going over all the evidence again to connect what role EACH of them played in the murder, so to all you clueless non-believers what do ya think now?

Hello! Does this man take into consideration when saying his son is innocent that his son stole a gun from him and may have convince his ex-15-year-old girl friend to "rob" her mother at knife point also....This parent needs to wake up!!! Further more lets get down to why the mother was gone so much...single mom working two jobs because the kids dead beat dad was no where to be found with child support and only showed up when convenient and yes supervised!

Teens accused of murdering 43-year-old mom are being returned to Texas
08:30 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 1, 2008
By WENDY HUNDLEY / The Dallas Morning News
The father said his son was shaken when he spoke with him Monday, and he relayed information about the day Ms. Bailey was killed. The father would not disclose that information, but he said what the boy told him convinced him of his son's innocence.
"I don't think he was involved in this," his father said of the capital murder charges.
The man added that Jennifer and her 14-year-old brother had troubled pasts that included run-ins with their mother.

This story disturbs me deeply. I don't care how mad my mother makes me (and has made me), the thought of harming her in any way has never crossed my mind. These teens either have serious mental issues or else they have no conscience whatsoever, or both.

It bothers me to imagine that this woman's last thoughts were "why are my children doing this to me?" If they are found guilty -- and I believe they are -- I hope they receive the death penalty. They deserve nothing less, aside from being forced to look at pictures of their mom and from their childhood every day.

Why is Richard being so tight lipped, is it because of what he had done to his kids in the past (all the abuse)? That loser is probably just happy that he don't have to pay Susan child support.
What child support???????

Jennifer & my daughter were friends all thru high school...they went to sleep overs and birthday parties at each of our homes plenty of times... I know Jennifer as a smart, but quiet girl, very nice and friendly everytime she was around. She worked at a local restaurant, and my daughter would ask me to bring her there to visit, and Jennifer would get me a free drink, and ask if she could do anything for me. She was very sweet, and I was happy that she was getting married, and my daughter was asked to be in the wedding. I guess things changed as things got bitter between her and her mom, and it was hard that they were both working to keep their home, after the divorce. I don't know everything, but I know it wasn't that it was always that bad. I can't see her doing it, but I wasn't always there to see the changes. I don't want to be naive, either - it was wrong, and it WAS possible - but none of us know all the details at this point. We are wrong to judge. I pray for Jennifer, and her brother and friend.... and I cry for her mom. It's so very sad to have come to this.

According to a search warrant affidavit, the three teens, along with another Fort Worth teen, had written out a plan of attack prior to the murder. Last week, classmates came forward with information about the plan, detectives said.

Police said on the same day Susan Bailey was murdered, she found gun ammunition in her home and called police. A gun was never found, but knives were taken from under her daughter's bed and the couch cushions.

People don't worry. Just listen to Paul Henson Sr. His son is a harmless, warm, loving and caring "normal kid" who has never harmed an animal in his life. He's just like every kid out there.

Don't all kids steal guns, run away from home and read the demonic bible? I can't imagine why anyone would suggest that there is anything slightly out of the norm or wrong with this kid. Oh and I forgot to include murder. Just sounds like a normal teen to me.

Please, with a father like that it's no wonder the kid is completely whacked.

Don't believe everything you see today and your memory could be playing tricks on you, too. You might remember things in a distorted or false way, through no fault of your own. You may also be reading too much into the situations that are going on around you, making it hard for you to know what's really happening. Try not to make any big decisions today because you simply aren't thinking straight.
