La Cabana Mexican Resturant

Best authentic mexican food around!!!!! We love this restaurant, the food is amazing, service is wonderful, & all the people there are very nice & love to make you smile. My experience there is ALWAYS an extremely pleasant one!

They have really god food! The prices gotten a little higher but nothing too extreme!

Sorry, Los Portales pales by comparison. La Cabana has great food and great service. Their salsa is better, and the portions are bigger. La Cabana is my first choice in the entire NW Tennessee area for Mexican cuisine.

They just opened up there new addition, lots more room and super nice bar area as well, the best margaritas as always, great food and service!

Nothing beats El Vallarta - NOTHING. Their prices are much cheaper, portions are huge, taste is better & most of all service is waaaaaaaaay better!! Haven't been back to La Cabana or Los Portales since thru came to this area!!!

Yea El Vallarta is ok if you like more American Mexican food, cabana is just more authentic, reminds me a little more like Mexico, just gotta get them to serve the street tacos then it will be the best

Love the food! Service is not always the best as far as gettting the desired food I want. The waiters. Are hot and very friendly. They know what drink and food I want everytime I go in there. If you want your food to be on point everytime go to los portales if you wanna have enjoyable meal. Go to La Cabana

Well if you are insanely picky orders do get messed up. I eat there just about daily for lunch and never have had to send my food back. Los Portales is good as well but the atmosphere is much more nice in Cabana. Waiters are usually fantastic doing their job unless they are super busy and that should be expected. Sometimes I do choose Los over Cab because it isn't as busy. Food and service award definitely goes to La Cabana!

Well it would clear out alot of these overweight obese people that frequently eat at these places.

la cabana has good food i must agree. never had any problems there buuuuut i have to say at any mexican restaurant i have ever eaten at the mexicans always have a scowl on their faces. can someone tell me why they are always such pissy ppl. i never see any of them smile and especially the little dwarf sized mexican women they are exceptionally pissy looking. they look at you as if they are better than you which is freakin hilarious i mean puhleez. so again i am just curious why the hell they never smile. oh and yes i wish the hell they would be required to learn fluent english b4 being allowed on this side of the border.

If you haven't been to La Cabana lately, you should visit. The whole place has been remodeled and expanded. It looks great. A friend of mine took me to Los Portales recently (even though I really tried to get them to take me to Cabana). It is a nice restaurant, very clean and cozy. But the salsa had virtually no spices, and the food just didn't compare. It was "okay," but I went to La Cabana last week - EXCELLENT!

You're an idiot. There are no 'authentic' Mexican restaurants in this area

Before you give rave reviews to a resturant Check with people who clean the vent-a-hood or local health dept to ask the condition of their kitchen

^ If the health department thought that the kitchen was in a poor enough condition to give it a bad review, don't you think they would shut it down? Lol. Btw, restaurant is spelled this way.;)

if there so clean ask yourself for a tour of the kitchen before you eat you have the right and they have been warned before, so belly up to the trough
