This is clearly an abuse of power. No officer would make something like this up. They would be crazy to pick a fight with a judge. She should NOT continue being a judge. She's paranoid and nuts.

Someone flipping their lid. That is what it sounded like to me. My opinion, of course. Is that common practice? Cursing and carrying on like a lunatic?

It's a big deal when judges are prohibited to do so by the code of conduct for judges! When you are a judge, you are told, "you can't do this stuff." If you do that stuff, you are in violation of your code of conduct, which can get removed from the bench.

Maybe you should read this whole thread. Someone did take the time to post a link to the aforementioned code of conduct. Believe it or not, Judges must abide by it! If you don't think so, you're probably just some family friend of the Judge here to spread propaganda.

here we go again. anytime anyone bunks what's said on topix about someone, especially that dammed old lawyer, judge, commissioner, whoever, we're said to be friends of or related to them. must be, got to be to take their side. i don't know the judge. i'm not related to her. i also don't think what she was taped doing is that big a deal. don't think she needs to be removed from the bench for doing it. nor do i think she will be. i'm also not jealous of her, as a lot of her detractors seem to be.

I think the more interesting issue is whether the policemen were doing what she was accusing them of doing when she delivered her angry lecture to them in chambers.

I am more sympathetic to her if she had a good reason to be angry.

Atticus, So what your saying is that if someone is involved in criminal activity and they find out the authorities may be onto them, then it is only natural for them to be angry.

That is how I interpret what Atti said. He is even more sympathetic towards her if that is her good reason. Wow. Just came right out with it, didn't he?
