Fulton District Attorney Gets In Shouting Match With Judge

ATLANTA -- An assistant Fulton County District Attorney has been jailed after failing to pay a citation for contempt issued in October.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Marvin Arrington said in a court order that District Attorney Paul Howard confronted him Thursday after he jailed a prosecutor and demanded her release.
The judge said Howard shouted in his face that he was "making a mockery of the judiciary" and said Howard later burst into his office and had to be escorted out. Arrington said the tirade made him fear for his safety.
The episode unfolded after Arrington ordered Assistant District Attorney Linda Dunikoski jailed for failing to pay a $100 fine within 30 days after she was cited for contempt.
She was reprimanded on Oct. 6 for continuing to argue points after he had ruled on them.

Great! I love it when prosecutors learn the hard way that they are NOT above the law.

I'm curious though; did Mr. Howard face any kind of penalty from Judge Arrington for his outburst at the judge, or was it just Ms. Dunikoski who was jailed for contempt? Inquiring minds want to know.:)

Linda J. Dunikoski is just like Mike Nifong (Duke Lacrosse rape case). She's unethical, immoral, doesn't care about the TRUTH, and thinks every woman who claims to be a "victim" of a crime is telling the truth. She got what she deserved!!!!

This is typical childish behavior of the elected court officials in Fulton County. Most of them should be thrown out of office starting with Howard, remember he couldn't even get Nichols the death penality.

He was too busy shopping around for an "expert witness" who would disagree with the countless other expert witnesses who agreed with Officer Bunn's version of what happened the night Bunn's life was put in jeopardy by a lowlife, worthless career thief. All because Paul Howard is friends with the dead thugs grandmama.

District Attorney's believe they and their friends are above the law. Danny Porter in Gwinnett is the same way. He has a friend that stole 250k in equipment from me ,a detective that stole tens of thousands from me. This was about a 1.3 million dollar theft total. Overwhelmed with evidence he decided to insult me on forums and blogs while covering up for his friends. One was a cop. He's been arrested 6 times since. drugs ,fruad ,etc ,one was my general manager ,he's sitting in federal prison for doing the same thing to someone else. His friend by the way committed many thefts afterwards.But they won't touch their friends. But remember. "People seldom change until the pain of remaining the same is stronger than the pain of change". And that pain will change his mind eventually. One of my favorite sayings is "The one with the most to lose will". Words to live by.

Don't get me started on Danny Porter. He's an arrogant jerk that very few people like. I know for a FACT he got put in his place recently by a U.S. Attorney. I can't and won't go into details, but trust me, Danny's ego got put into check one night a little over a year ago.

Every agency, city, county, state, and federal that has had to deal with Danny Porter has ended up disliking him. He doesn't play well with others. If he did, Gwinnett wouldn't be facing the gang and drug problem they have. But Danny's ego is more important than playing well with others, so the citizens of Gwinnett will suffer. The sad part is, most of them like him because they don't know any better.

I'm familiar with what happened a year ago and whats going on now. Your right ,not one person I've spoken with care for him at all. And the problems in Gwinnett have other issues around them. I do believe many were caused by Porter's own agenda. There is a book coming out that features Gwinnett ,some cases ,and Porter. There's talk of a docudrama. You'll hear about it in 2010. It's being worked on by some pretty high profile people. It should be interesting.

Actually, Paul Howard ran unopposed last time so that's why that bastard is still in office!!! I pray to God that someone will challenge him next time. But, who really wants to take over the mess that is the Fulton County DA's office? He just needs to spend some time in jail alongside his lap dog Linda Dunikoski!!!
