This was the most rigged pageant I have ever seen in my entire life! The girl tht won 1st place in the 3,4, and 5 yr olds age group (i think tht was the age range) was very pretty...don't get me wrong. But the 2nd and 3rd place were complete jokes! Sorry kids...yall were cute and all but yalls parents did not dress yall properly for a PAGEANT!!! These kids looked as if they walked straight out of a dollar store and like they had gotten dressed there. I could not believe that 2 of the prettiest girls did not even get a call back!!! What were you judges thinking??? Were the 2 girls yalls friends kids or were they related to you or what??? If you wanted girls to not dress up and be all fixed up...then why not tell everyone that!!! Pageants are meant to pick the girls who are most beautifully dressed, who have the most beautiful smile, who have the best eye contact with the judges and the audience and show the most personality! Not the ones who just stand there staring at their feet and not moving one inch unless their parents are dragging them across the stage and forcing them to wave! And before any of you say anything, NO I did NOT have a child in this age group or any other! I was just watching with a friend whos child placed today in a diff group. But this age group was just so obvious that the winners were picked for different reasons than for beauty! Judges are supposed to me fair and not crooked! Especially when it involves small children!!! The message yall sent out to the contestants was for them to just dress themselves in their play clothes for the nxt pageant! Doesnt matter if they have a gorgeous dress and hair and shoes and all tht. I feel so sorry for all the beautiful little girls who went thru all the hard work and trouble and preparations for the pageant and tht didn't stand a chance even before the pageant began. Yall were very beautiful and I'm sure everyone but the judges were able to see that!

you know you had some interest in this pageant.who cares about pageants anyway..... mostly ugly mothers who are living through their kids. what value do these pageants have? a good place for pedophiles to hang out. the jon renee ramsey detectives suspect it may have been someone hanging out at these pageants that killed her.where are the womens lib group when you really need them!

These pageants should be ILLEGAL for this very reason - some poor, fat, ugly, lazy ass who happens to be pissed off because her 'little darling' didn't win a 50-cent plastic trophy and get her picture in the local paper. I just bet the little darling that shes pissed off about is a member of a family that lives in poverty so that her mother can parade her around in expensive dresses and shoes, fake teeth and hair and a face painted to look like a prostitute. Sounds like the judges were sending a message...

These children should be natural, without make up. They could wear their "Sunday go to meeting" clothes without spending a fortune on those fancy pants.
These pageants should be fun, not back-biting and miserable.

My little girl won 2nd place in that age group. I'm sorry you think she was a "complete joke" but that was our first pageant and i was unsure of how to dress her. And I damn sure was not gonna spend $200 on a dress or put make-up on my 2-year old! I'm sorry you are mad that she placed and the others didn't. All the girls were beautiful and did a really good job! And, of course, I was really proud that she won anything because I wasn't expecting her too. It sounds like this "seriously" person has a jealously issue, but I'd appreciate it if you didnt get on here and bash my 2-yr old... Grow up!!!

I really think you should be ashamed of yourself bashing on little innocent children like that. I don't remember seeing anything on the form about it saying formal wear. The little girl who won went perfectly with the Merry Christmas theme. She was a darling little girl and should not have to face judgement against a grown person. If someone wants to spend a couple hundred on formal wear and are upset because they did not win then they should go to a glitz pageant. All the little girls were very cute and Carmen you should feel very proud. Do not let anyone get you down because she was an angel. She displayed a perfect example of a natural pageant and you did not have to spend a fortune. Good job!

Thank you so much WOW. I am very proud of my daughter and she had such a great time doing the pageant and looked forward to it for over a month. She wants to do another one now!:) It's all in fun. They win some, they lose some. No point in anyone getting upset over it or trying to make winners feel bad for winning.:)

im sorry but your not gonna sit here and bash my niece! So what, she didnt wear an expensive dress and look plastic but she was HER. and thats good enough for a 2 year old. So i would greatly appreciate it if you DO NOT bash my sister or my niece! and I am SO proud of her and her accomplishment. and all the other girls did look amazing and did a great job but do not sit here and talk about her when she did what she was supposed to do and was herself and won 2nd place. and another thing noone rigged the contest. and another thing, it was a CHRISTMAS pageant.

this is really pathetic! My daughter was in this pageant as well. She did not place in it either but that's okay and I wouldn't sit here and complain about it. All pageants are for is to make money as a fundraiser or what have you. If it is to the point of getting all upset over not winning then why place your child in it to begin with? My child has participated in them for years. Some she has placed and some not. I would not fuss about her not placing. She goes out there and does her best and that's all I care about. It does not bother her at all to not place, she likes to do the "girly thing" and get all "made up" with the fancy dresses, makeup, nails, and hair. All you are doing in them anyhow is paying someone to tell you that you are pretty. And Susan is great and has even given my child pointers and offered to stay afterwards to help her out. But fuss as you all like because it makes you all look silly and petty anyhow.

Well my daughters was in this pageant and one of them was in this age group and she won maid! I was shocked, and it was her first. So no it's not rigged, and her dress was not from the dollar store, and it was not a pageant dress, it was a all natural pageant, maybe u need to read all the fine lines before u go and talk all the crap about other parents, ur child lost, mine won maid, I'm sorry they all was very cute, get over it....

And by the way her dress didn't come from the dollar store, just because it wasn't a pageant dress, don't mean it was cheap.
