Rockin' Robin's is awesome. I've lived in Ripley the whole time that place has been open and this is the first time i've ever heard anybody at all say anything negative about it.

I had several bad experiences there. Went there during the tobacco festival, they turned off the air. The place is really dirty.

It is worst than dirty.

Well it must not have been too bad of an experience for you (yes I see that 3 ppl have commented besides me, but it's obviously the same person) otherwise you would have posted your real name, or went to the people in charge to file a complaint instead of hiding behind a fake name griping on the internet.

I have the right to make a comment on here. The place is nasty, the waitress are lazy. The manager or whoever she is, was standing at the counter watching this go on. You keep going back that is your right. I won't be back unless they clean it up.

I know someone who ordered a "I'm a jerk" T from them and never got it. They refused to give him a receipt for payment and then wouldn't give him the shirt because he didn't have a receipt.

It isn't nasty dirty, the food was good, and the wait staff did tend to gossip instead of working... but they screwed my friend over and that's why I don't go there.

It's the owner who has problems. Always has a bad attitude!!

you are full of it, your comment is a flat out lie nothing like that ever happened....if so its your friends fault for not getting a receipt you dont order somthing off wal-marts web site and go pick it up with out any proof of purchase

Yes, it is all his fault for trusting a small town business owner who told him he wouldn't need a receipt because, at the time, he was a regular customer. How dare him!

They took his name and told him just to bring ID when the shirt came in. When he went in with his ID, they said he'd already picked up the shirt. Which means they gave the shirt to someone else without requiring ID or they ripped him off. They are either bad businessmen or theives. Either way, I have no desire to give them my money.

for one he's a douche bag for wanting one of those shirts anyway and besides it didnt happen your friend is obviously a lier

i know the owner of rockin robins very well and all the employees i'm in that restaurant on a daily basis and i know for a fact if a customer asked for a receipt that they would not refuse to give them one and if by some misatke they gave his shirt to the wrong person it would have been made right tara values her customers and there business if this honestly happened im sure she was not aware of it and would have made it good with your friend your friend should have spoken with tara not one of the 15 or 16 year old waitress and this didnt happen to you personaly so why are on here making comments over somthing you obviously know nothing about

BESIDES you don't order shirts there! Even the girls that work there order their shirts from Shroyer's. And YES, they are truly girly shirts, what GUY would want one?????? It's a good place to eat. Ripley doesn't have much selection. But there are daily specials and it's always good. There are a bunch of kids working there, so what! AT least these kids are working and not out sellling drugs like most of the town and even kids at the high school this week! KUDOS to the kids for trying to earn an honest buck while having to listen to complaining, bitching adults over stupd crap! They make very little on the hour and their tips is what keeps these kids putting gas in their tanks and paying their cell phone bills and insurance! Think about that before you run off your mouth about a small town business and business owner trying to boost the economy in a small town!

I do know this happened because I was with him when he tried to pick up the shirt. It is entirely possible that Tara knows nothing about it. It is also entirely possible that it was a kid pulling a scam on him.

I don't have issues with kids working there. Some of the best people I've ever worked with were kids.

Also, why are you not attacking all the other people in here? I said the food was good and it wasn't dirty.

becuase you decided not to give them your business based on someone eleses experience and if your friend would have notified tara im sure she would have made it right it sounds like your friend didn't realy care too much about the shirt or he wouldn't have gave up so easy and the comments youve made makes tara look like a bad business women and thats not the case you just jumped on the chance to bash her and her business i have dated her daughter for over four years and tara has been like a mother to me thats why im defending her and her business im not attacking you im sure you would have done the same for someone you respect and care about

True, I would defend someone I respect and care about. In fact, that's what I'm doing. My friend is not a liar and I was standing beside him when he tried to pick up the shirt. It did happen.

If Tara was unaware that some employee of hers was running a scam, I apologize. As I said, we ate there several times. It is a nice place. We were considering having a birthday party there, even, when this happened.

Overpriced and over rated
