In June 2009 the South Carolina Supreme Court issued an opinion for definite suspension of Aiken Summary Court Judge Patrick Sullivan for definite suspension after he admitted to altering court orders related to his interim suspension dated September 7, 2007.

Did he resign from office? We always heard that Aiken was a bad place to live because of all the public corruption with the judges and law enforcement.
