I paid for tickets the last day of Fiesta last year and they cancelled. I got stuck. I want to know if they are going to honor those tickets from the last day last year?

Let's take the nations worst drivers, and give them colorful balloons to look at while they try to fight each other to get in and out of this mess. You couldn't catch me dead at this annual cluster-fork.
Why not move the Fiesta to way out west, so that when the balloons take off in the morning, you don't have to stare into the sun to see them?
You obviously haven't driven much.

SO how many fatalities will we see this year?

Why anyone thinks having high-tension transmission powerlines near a balloon site is a good idea is beyond me.

I guess we will put up with a few deaths and lawsuits, all in the name of the mighty dollar. Balloon Fiasco is a more proper name.

They want people to ride their bicycles? Are they nuts? After the posts responding to the bicycle rally, they want people to ride their bikes in the morning and evening darkness? Who is the brain child behind that? It would be nice, but with crazy Alb drivers half awake, that is death for riders even if there were bike lanes. It is nuts during the light hours, now you want to do it in the dark?

Seriously, are they nuts?

Look closely at the article and you'll note the newest revenue source - valet parking for bicycles...

what I wanna know is whose bright idea was it to give the go ahead to start the construction on north bound I-25 3 weeks before the darned fiesta starts. Talk about a potential cluster!

That's a new low. Talk about squeezing the blood from a stone. They should try to make money the old fashion way, by having good vendors and exhibits people want to see.

"Hey look honey, lets get a picture of the bicycle valet." Ya just like Disney Land.

You should try riding a bike somewhere fatty, its better than driving. It will easily be the fastest way to and from the fiesta

excuse you? Please remove your face out of your behind. You are a jerk and are probably one of the ones that are out to get bicyclists in this town which is why you like this idea so much. Bicycling is not safe as seen by several blogs. It may be the fastest, but I bet someone will die in a bicycle accident this balloon fiesta. People attending the fiesta barely watch out for other cars, there is no way they are going to be looking for bicycles.

I get in and out probably 30 to 40 minutes faster than cagers.

They should also offer a dedicated motorcycle lane, to help keep traffic flowing.

Don't know when the last time you went was, but I've been going there with my family for the last six Summers.

Disneyland food is cheaper, of *much* higher quality, both parks, and Downtown Disney are much safer than either the NM State Fair or the Balloon Fiasco. On the question of parking, their lots are also safer than at the NM State Fair, or the Balloon Fiasco.

Don't knock what you don't know.

LOL. I agree Disney Land is better. I was mocking the balloon fiesta... it's ok. I wish Disneyland came here for one week every year.

If you have tickets, they're good for the next year. I had one that I found in the bottom of a drawer form 2002 and it was good in 2007

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Sagittarius

There's work to be done. Even though it might seem overwhelming, there's a lot to be gained from doing Level One, or routine physical tasks. When your body is preoccupied and very little mental input is required, your mind is free to roam. Do one thing at a time, and you're assured of complete success in all your projects and undertakings today. Your health is not as good as it could be, at the moment. Consider a cleansing diet.
