Rio Linda Head-on Crash Kills One

Some six thousand people die on our roadways every year. Six thousand out of the 250,000,000 of us won't make it home next year.

Driving is inherently dangerous. We need to get young people to respect the machines they are operating.

well...i am just going reply to everything that i just read...
Antelope Mom-Litney and her brothers were wearing their seat belts. Her brother that was in the hospital remembers the accident. He also told what caused the accident. A car pulled out in front of them and Litney swerved to avoid hitting that car and ended up hitting and crossing the median. There was no speeding involved. Knowing Litney...she always went the speed limit.
Logan-Litney turned 19
Mike H.- I honestly doubt that anything happend with the two of them. No one even knew they were "dating" So i dont believe they were. She would have told me. That is beside the point though. This was an accident. You said no one is posting on the condision of Lit's brother, but if you look back...I did. He broke his femur and is doing really well now.
Cash and Mike H- i am tired of you guys being so judgemental. Neither of you were there. Get a job or a hobby and get over the fact that you are wrong and this. It was an accident. She never intended for anything to happen. In fact, she had intended on preventing a crash because of that other car.
This family is amazing. They are greatful for having each other and thanking God for all the time they did have together. I look up to how strong all of them are. They are amazing, as was Lit and Brent. None of them deserve what is being said. It is really time for all of this to stop.

Thanks logan for the comment you made regarding my son being a hero. He truly is and i am very proud of him. I hope the fowler family is staying strong. I think of them daily. It's a sad, sad tradegy. My heart and prayers go out to them.

guess what sara i was in that accident thats my sister your talking about.and for your info the accident wasnt her fault. a car pulled in front of her and she swerved to avoid it NoT HER FAULT.and both my brother and sister died in the accident.only i survived.so shut the F!@# UP!!!!

WOW. To only hope the people pulling the boat are okay just sickens me. They could have been just as cautious by being aware of their surroundings. And if you knew ANYTHING about the young girl, you would know that she was neihter showing off nor speeding.
Her mistake was just as bad as you looking down to change the radio or find your phone and running a red light or a stop sign. You need to get your nose out of the air and face reality. there are good and bad kids EVERYWHERE, NOT just in sacramento. Next time you get any kind of traffic ticket, remember what you had said about these young teenagers.

2 years and we still miss you lit and brent
