1 It would be nice if you wrote how they died, instead of leaving it up to interpretation here. Don't be fooled people! Marijuana has never killed anyone! "...where a doctor or a medical assistant under the influence of pot might operate on me." There are thousands of prescription drugs that doctors have at their disposal, not to mention of which are much more harmful than marijuana, yet legal,(which still boggles my mind) but you're not afraid of them being under the influence of these drugs? These are far more dangerous, and I would also consider my own judgment in the physician I choose. |

1 What are the negative effects of marijuana? The worst one by far is the legal effect if one is unlucky enough to be busted for possession. Coming in close second is probably the effect of smoking. However now as you stated the "marijuana of today is far more potent than in the past!" Phil you poor misguided soul realize this stronger marijuana= less smoke in ones lungs. Stronger marijuana is a blessing. I also hate how people like Phil who the general public beleive to have more knowledge than they never mention the fact that many medical patients can consume marijuana in foods or a vaporizer which almost completely rule out the later of the bad effects I listed above. How can anyone give merit to the argument about the doctor using legal marijuana before surgery. Last time I checked people of all races and social backgrounds already use drugs of all types illegally. Leagalizing marijuana is not going to have an effect on who uses and when. Chances are if a surgeon is going to use marijuana he/she already does. What about the doctor who goes home at the end of the day and drinks a fifth of whiskey and comes to work the next day feeling all the ill effects of that poison. I for one would rather have a doctor, airline pilot, or any other public servant who choses to unwind after a hard days work with a natural substance than one that was made by man. Stop the RHETORIC! Question your government, they only tell us what they want us to believe. |

To bad there is an entire county thqt refuses to participate in the program thats why the # is so small. If only a doctor in San Juan had the B-A-L-L-s to script but then again in ten years none have accepted any Medicare patient either.

1 "The marijuana available today is much more potent than it was in the past," Jordan said. "It is a known gateway drug to harder drugs. Of course, Phil Jordan is going to say this He has made a good career chasing down people who just wanted to alter their own perception of life. He calls Marijuana a " Gateway Drug " I don’t, I call it an "Exit ramp Drug" because I believe that when someone ruins their health with all the other stuff they put in their system they can always take that exit to a more controlled and less addictive substance. Mr. Jordan, just say no to the propaganda laced movie Reefer Madness. Stop tippen the coolaid |

My post here got edited out for saying that there appears to be a lot of experts in growing marijuana in New Mexico. I guess I didn't show sympathy like you and was thus politically incorrect. Oh, and I also mentioned now they can start earning a legal living. Isn't that sympathetic enough? |

Anyone who wants to will smoke marijuana. The only difference law enforcment can make is to make it a little more expensive. The traffickers don't care if the price goes up. They get whatever it takes to make a profit. Legalization is the only answer that will stop making billionaires out of street thugs and at the same time bring in more revenue to the government in taxes like alcohol and tobacco already do.

Might be your only answer dopehead but the right answer to sane people is summary execution of any one caught selling drugs. How much profit do you think it takes when your azz is on the line if you get caught? |
