antonio ortiz jr. is ma cuz i love him with all me heart i dont know why that girl did this to him but she better wach her back for what she did!!!

I can't believe something like this could happen to him. I have been debating for the last couple of months on whether I should write anything. One of the last conversations we had, I told him to be careful with what he does to these women, but I never imagined in a million years something so tragic. I can't stop thinking about what happened to him and it's a shame that the army would let in people who are crazy like that! Tony and his family will always have a place in my heart.

Face down in the dirt is just the place for him.That man is nothing,a woman beater and a rapist.He got everything he deserved.I wish i was there to see him die.

My sympathy to his his family for this tragic unpreventable death. I am in Iraq and seeing the deaths of Soldiers here and then see some who deploy for tour after tour come home and get killed and goes look for trouble just doesn't make an damn sense. If you were in Iraq and survived then great, but coming home and think you can take anyone one in any situation and have the same protection as you did in Iraq, then think again before you act. Your not going to the club in your IBA and Kevlar with weapon. For the others who replied, you must not be NCO's because you can't spell or talk like professionals. If you knew this guy was getting into trouble and you didn't try and stop him or do something, then you were all wrong.

This soldier that you are talking about is one of my best friends. You guys are quick to judge without getting the full story or getting the other side of things. I was there from the beginning. On the outside he (Ortiz) was the nicest person in the world but behide closed doors he was a cruel person. What he did to her was cruel. Do you know how many times she came to crying to me because he BEAT the SHIT out of her?! I had to take care of hurts and bruises. She loved him so much that she didn't want to report the abuse to the MP (in the military thats the police for those who don't know). She reported it to her Chain of Command and they did NOTHING because he was in enough trouble already. Did you know how many times she got pregnant with his baby? TWICE and he threatened if that she didn't abort the babies he would hurt her. Bet you didn't know that she spoke to the other girl in New York ,COUSIN, since you know everything. They talked and decided they didn't need all that drama or him, but of course you guys know all this right? I was there the night when this so called murder happened. That was self defense. When she found out he died you could hear her screams and till this day she crys her self to sleep. I know she didn't do it to have him die. It was a total accident. I was mad as hell when I read these fucking comments. Know your facts before you talk shit or judge somebody. I know all this because she is my best friend. I know her better then she knows herself. A little comment to Ortiz cousins: I wish you would try and touch her cause if you ever did...just disappear before her true friends and supports find your ass. I dare you to try that shit. My best friend is far from crazy. She never had any problems in the five years she served in the military until she met Ortiz. Get your facts straight.

If this was the truth why then she didn't file a restraining order which is basically given to a woman if she feels like her life was in danger. She is an adult and she was able to know the difference between right and wrong. She chose to take it out with anger.

You are so ignorant. No one deserves to die. She chose her actions as well as him. If he kept beating her ass as you would say she was a fool to keep going back to him. The blogs I read were interesting. I have no vested interested in the case, but if you live by the sword, you will die by the same. I've policed for several years, and this is an all to familiar story. I guess I'll never understand why a woman chose to stay in an abusive relationship. I can say this, time heals all wounds. This too shall pass in time. Geegee if your really her friend, take her to see Pastor James Johnson. New Church Of The Living God, on sixth st near I-70. She doesn't need someone to fight for her, the battle is not hers to fight. Let me know how it turns out.

There is a guy on here name Joe, from junctin city, kansas and I see someone told him he was on the wrong forum. it was another guy on a different page where it says "Man Shot in Head" and the wife is claiming that he was hitting her. so who is joe and does he or she knows something about the shooting.
