Does anyone know what happened to Joel Straker? Heard he passed away a couple weeks ago.

look...who are you to say that? he was not the best man, but he was a decent man. he may not have always done the right thing, but have you?

Nobody has a right to judge anyone else. He made right the wrongs he did. Why not think of the people left that loved him and not be such a jerk because, believe me, they WAY outnumber those that disliked him . He was a good and decent man that did what he could to help people when he didn't have to and for the most part got nothing in return.

Right! Okay, whatever you say. But, he did dig Deb J and was still seeing her a couple of years ago. He use to even meet her at her work (school). Real classy. Did she show up to his funeral? I'll bet she cried like a bitch.

No Deb J was not at the funeral but that skanky whore office manager at Straker Trucking that was the most recent piece of shit Joel was screwing was there looking like she needed a bath. Tim, it my understanding that his business was going under and largely to his involvement with Lynn his office manager they both had been using
drugs.. and bleed the business dry along with the others peoples money they where associated with. Really sad he robbed alot of people and did not make it right. I wonder if anyone went to the estate sale today?

First, Lynn and Joe I think your views are a little tainted. Second the cancer did not come until later in Joel's life, what about all the manipulating, lying and cheating before that. Your blaming cancer for a lifetime of poor judgment and caniving behavior. He never took ownership for anything. When you use your own resouces THATs a kind and generous man. When you use the resources of others thats a LOSER. Many people have been hurt by Joel's "legacy of generousity".

I hope that one day when god forbid tragedy strikes your family that people have more respect for all of you than what has been posted on this blog. No matter what happened there are people who loved this man no matter what he did. And these same people are still constantly having their heart crushed over losing their dad and grandpa. this is blog is shameful! and i would like to ask for some respect as dad did have a grandson who is too young to understand how he lost his Pawpaw and would hope that some loose tongue will not break the circumstances to him before he is able to understand and cope with the situation.

Thank you for that post. Joel was a very good and decent man. There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't thought about him and often cry over the loss. He was a major part of my life for 25 years and he is NOT the person that has been portrayed on this site. I've wanted to post on here so many times but held back because it seems many of the people that post enjoy hurting the people who care about Joel and his family more than they already are.

I hope you are doing okay, and I hope Tate is healing as well.

WOW! I havent checked this blog in quite some time, and am glad I havent done so! Marice, for those of you who dont know, is Joel's daughter! I am sure she was upset when she read this whole thing!! You people are sad!!!!
