Please learn from our mistakes with "executor"

The probate attorney my late parents' selected did not really know him very well. He was new to them, and quite charming.

He wanted to make money for himself off of the home. So he did what he could to destroy our lives or at least make us look "looney."

There was more than this in his desires, I believe. I sensed desperation on his part, to sell the home. For some reason he was under intense pressure to do so. We believe we will be able to find out the core reason he IGNORED my father's last wishes and added a section stating he could not be sued by anyone at any time.

He was anticipating being sued. He had preplanned his actions against us. THAT IS OBVIOUS.I SUSPECT HE EVEN HAD A BUYER SELECTED BEFORE DAD DIED.

Well, I did not agree not to sue him- my dad- not thinking clearly due to Kidney Failure- signed on the dotted line and never read the will again.

HOW CAN THIS MAN ACT LIKE HE IS A RESPECTABLE ATTORNEY? NOW THAT HIS NAME IS OUT- public record, I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE WHOSE ELDERLY PARENTS HAVE THEIR WILLS MADE OUT WITH HIM AS EXECUTOR INSIST UPON READING THE WILLS CAREFULLY AND PRESENT THEM TO ANOTHER ATTORNEY FOR REVIEW. DO NOT ASSUME HE WILL FOLLOW YOUR PARENTS' WISHES WHEN THEY PASS ON. HE WILL FOLLOW HIS OWN WISHES.

IF YOU YOURSELF ARE ELDERLY, HAVE A WILL WITH HIM AND NO CHILDREN TO ASSIST YOU, CONTACT ANOTHER ATTORNEY AND HAVE HIM OR HER GO THROUGH THE WILL WITH YOU. Ask your close friends- or minister or rabbi- to review the will with you.

ALSO, CHILDREN OF RECENTLY DECEASED PARENTs WHO HAS/HAD HIM AS PROBATE ATTORNEY/EXECUTOR- DEMAND TO SEE ALL RECORDS HE BILLS YOU FOR. DO NOT JUST "ACCEPT" THAT ONE MUTUAL FUND WAS SENT TO HIM FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT.

MAKE SURE YOU GET TO LOOK AT EVERYTHING THAT HE CLAIMS IS SENT TO HIM. INCLUDING THINGS LIKE HIS BILLING YOU FOR HIS READING SOMETHING IN THE NEWSPAPER(HE DID THAT TO US) OR BILLING YOU FOR SOMEONE IN THE PROBATE OFFICE TELLING HIM TO 'START WORKING' AFTER A LAPSE OF MONTHS.

PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES. WE TRUSTED HIM. HE WAS A MASTER OF DECEPTION.
