I think the skate park needs to be opened back up so kids will have something to do and not be running around town gettin into trouble.. If the community cares enough to put in other knew stuff then why cant they make a place for kids to hang out.. We need more activities in this town.. There's to many drugs and theiving in this town.. We need to start caring what are kids do instead of letting them do what they want..

Sounds like a parental problem to me. It isn't the City's responsibility to entertain your kids. The City/Community has provided 3 parks and the kids destroy the equipment, they aren't supervised by their parents. There are ball games every weekend, they can play ball themselves, there is a teen center on Main Street and a Skating Rink for them also. What else do you suggest?

Well i went to school with a lot of people that loved to skateboard and obvisously they spent more time skating instead of being at the skating rink. Plus the park is more of a family place where you have get togethers. Yonger kids like the skating rink and older kids like to skate on skateboards, rather than to ride on rollor blades. I mean more or likely they would be there instead of running town.. And my child is only 2 so its not a parental problem.

If they had nice stuff i dont think they would destroy it. If they do then they just screwed thier self. I just thought it would be a good idea because they would spend more time thei than on the streets..
