Daycare Van Driver Found Guilty in Death of Toddler - wtvr

My heart goes out to the victims family and also to Keishawn Whitfield and his family.We have to remember that we are all human and we all make mistakes. May God be with you all.

Keishawn did not intentionally leave this child in the van...i think he is guilty of felony child neglect but involuntary manslaughter i don't think so.

oh cmon,how in the hek do u not know the child in a van after u have been driving,just like the case with the president of the SPACA,both of them had to know both the dog and baby was in the cars,excuses I feel......I mean cmon in those vans u can see in the back thru the rear view mirror,throw his ass in jail.......and how did theowner not do a head-count when the child was not arriving back inside the school.this whole sounds fishy to me,but then again look what type of people we are dealing with?......

Shawn, what exactly does "then again look what type of people we are dealing with?" mean? People do make mistakes. May the Lord have mercy on you the next time you make one. I do agree that he should have done a walk through of the van. But we weren't there that day. We don't know what was going on at the time. And the last I checked a sin is a sin is a sin; you'll have to answer for yours one day just like I will just like Keishawn Whitfield will!

I hope and pray that the judge will have mercy on Mr Whitfield and give him another chance. We all fall short sometimes but by God grace and mercy he forgives us and man should too.

I really don't think this bothers hm at all not the way he stays in the club. If i were in this kind of heat never would I be in every event in the city of Richmond, to each is there own!!!

Is anyone here thinking about how the family of the baby feels? I mean really....they can't get their baby back.

my son attended the yello brick road for 2 years. i have never had a problem with them.. the whitfeilds are very good people.. ive known keishawn for years and he is very good with children. a sin is a sin, my heart goes out to the family of little andrew, may god bless his family, he cant be replaced. everyone deserves a second chance; god knows keishawn and he isnot to be judged by man but by god himself... may god bless all who is troubled during this tragic time

This is in response to Judgement Day, do you know Keishawn personally? you obviously have to to make that king of accusation that he is always in the club, but whether he is in the club or not should be your, or anyboby elses main concern especially if you do not know him. Keishawn is not a criminal so invoiuntary manslaughter is a bit much. My heart does go out to the Johnson family but throwing Keishawn in jail for 15 years or whatever the charges carry will not bring Andrew back. He is truley sorry for what happened like he said to channel 12 if he could take it back he would. He even tried to revive Andrew and got frustrated and punched thru a window when he couldnt. How many so called criminals would try to revive their victim and get frustrated when they can not? Some are acting like Keishawn is heartless and he's not Andrew has been at that daycare for about 11 months, so daycare providers as well as Keishawn developed a relationship and a love for Andrew also, children that attend the daycare as well as children outside the daycare love Keishawn. He does not have a criminal record, kept this job for 5 years plus, not out involving himself in criminal activities, so we should not make him a criminal like keishawn said "where is my justice" One more thing for the record Keishawn wasnt rushing to get home to go to sleep he was rushing to get the kids out of the van because he didnt want the kids in the van alone too long because he was afraid they might try to get out and possibly run in the street. SO MEDIA GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.

It is true though...in response to Judegement Day... i seen him some shit of times spotted a at the club having a ball like nothing happened but at the same time maybe he was just trying to releive some stress since he know he was going down for the situation. But NO i wouldnt be partying all ova richmond either if I had these type of charges pending and EVERYONE who know keshawn knows whats going on...its all about making the right decisions!! But hopefully he will just get what he deserves because at the end of the day his recklessness left a child dead. Thats the big picture PEOPLE! A family wont ever see their child again because of him so he needs to get something....

unbeliveable who are you to judge and you are right thats how he deals with things, especially because of this tragedy he doesnt like stayig in the house because thats where the situation happened. He is human everyone makes mistakes so i guess for every mistake you make you should get everything you deserve right??????????
