In the past I heard someone say that Ray County is ran by the "Good Ole Boy Party". Implying that in this town it's all in Who you know. One crook covers for the next. When they're behind closed doors in there fraternity with nearly as many secrets as the great Skull and Bones they laugh at those who they trample in their selfish quest to fill the void where their souls once were. There are secrets that if brought to light would bring this people to their knees. It's about time someone flipped the switch on to the high beams so we can watch them squirm like the cockroaches they are.
Just wondering

Imagine this, a forum that is blasting a "small town community" and firing back up the "Good Ol Boy System" theory. Things in small towns and counties never change. The same people, starting the same shit. How about you do something productive online, like a credit report, or read actual news. It's almost comical logging on here to see all the mud slinging about who's sleeping with who and what's going on behind closed doors. Apparently you have one of few things, the same view in the rooms behind those closed doors, a vandetta against someone or maybe even a meth induced case of being paranoid. Keep doing you, and I'll keep doing me, not worried about others lives and sweeping the internet full of gossip and propaganda. Keep doing Richmond proud, you all are making the town look intelligent.

It's funny you mention Meth in your above post. Maybe you know the secrets that this town hides. One other question what's a vandetta is that made by Dodge or Ford. When the little red squiggly line appears under what you type it means you don't know how to spell. So maybe you need to educate your Michigan wisdom

I don't think anyone has a vendetta against anyone. I think there is a lot of anger from a lot of the citizens past and present, because the town is full of hypocritical people that present themselves one way to the public and are critical and sometimes just down right rude and two faced to good people that just try to raise their family and survive. Yet, truth be known, if you open THEIR closets you would be astonished at who likes to snort or drink their dinner, are crooks, have affairs while their wives just ignore it and smile, have kids that think they have the same get out of jail free card and can do as they please and sadly they usually get protected just like their parents when they get caught. This town lives on secrets, manipulation and lies. Old Towne was their headquarters. Yet, they are standing in church every week as the faithful Christian. No one is trying to mudsling. Perfect example of cover up. One poster says something about bringing light to the lies in the town and someone runs to the defense and says no you're a mudslinger. The truth is there are a lot of people who would be brought to ruins if their real life and personality were shown. A lot of people in town know it and their secrets are a lot juicier than the little guy's that they look down upon. It was only a matter of time before someone would bring up a post like this, because people have been sick and tired of it for many years and would love nothing more than for the truth to come out. I personally don't know how I feel about it. I think in the end everyone will have to answer for themselves so I try not to worry about what anyone else is doing. I have enough to do just myself, but I have lived in this town my entire life and I know a lot of people feel this way. Just my opinion and many others I'm sure.

Excuse me for the one type-o, if I bring in an apple and do an extra credit assignment will you ever forgive me? As for the meth comment, c'mon douche, it don't take a rocket scientist to realize how bad of a issue methamphetamine is within Missouri. I hope you're enjoying spreading these wild fires.

All three of those accusations are wrong. I'm not a busy body, because I stay to myself most of the time. I am not a dumbass I am well educated and it's about time someone stirred up some shit instead of hiding in their glass houses maybe the town could start fresh if everyone started being honest with each other. They need to throw down their beer bottles and razor blades and save the town.

here is my take, you are so correct it does make you sick, and yes I do look at them and laugh, because they are not as smart as they think they are, we all know about them, they hide behind their relatives and proclaim 9 generations. We just
live are own lives, and stay to are selfs too. And
yes their children do get treated different than yours or mine. But ours will be successful at what
ever they do. They will earn their own way in life
and be a success and a great asset to what ever they do, or who they become. They will not have to
relay on relatives to be a success or to get a job.
Keep up the good work.

You make it sound like Richmond Missouri is the only town that has issues. Every town in Americ a has these problems even the large cities. Wake up and smell the coffee. If you think Richmond is so bad move to Orrick.

No, I do not make it sound like anything. I was making an observation about this town not any other. Not every town has these problems. There are small towns with corruption like ours, yes, but not every town is like this. This is our town and it needs cleaned out and cleaned up if it's not too late. Why would someone who is disgusted with how things are ran have to leave and go to Orrick? Sounds like an abusive husband, either take it or get out. I pay taxes just like anyone else why should the good people be ran out of town so the high class bums can keep screwing everyone while keeping a big fake smile so they can take their turn at I can build a house bigger than yours? You have to admit that was funny :)

Every town in America is like Richmond. You need to wake up. Every town has coruption and every town has those people who want to have a bigger and better home than you or the other guy. Its called capitalism. Make peace with yourself before you accuse everyone else of being the bad guy.

I agree that a lot of places are like Richmond maybe even most, but not all. It's unfortunate because Richmond has so much potential and many factors are dragging it down. I made comments about the community as most of us see it, but most will not say it. Getting attacked personally because I have an opinion that doesn't go along with the Stepford Wives trance this town has is typical Richmond. It probably will never change and as I stated above I'm not worried if it ever does. It is what it is and yes if someone is unhappy I guess their only option is to move and many have. There are so many good people in Richmond just sad to see them lead by some who aren't.

correct the normal people know who they are. And we
just let them be until they screw up and than everyone knows and we just keep smiling. You and I
will keep smiling while we go about our daily business. I'll let someone else judge them it's not are job. Someone higher than all of us.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Capricorn

If you need to get someone organized, this is the day to do it. You'll sort things out without sounding bossy or patronizing, and you'll also get co-operation instead of resistance. It's a good day for having a serious chat with a child, perhaps because you need to explain something and want to make sure you do it properly, in a way that doesn't create confusion or fear.
