Shadetree Apartments/morrow Rentals

Anybody live here? Anybody thinking about it? If so, I would strongly advise against it. I lived here and so have other people I know. I don't know of anyone who has moved who has gotten their total deposit back. Myself and another person especially left our apartments in better shape than when we moved in. I had to clean nicotine off the walls, the carpet was filthy from years of not being taken care of. Very cheap on rent for the area but you get what you pay for. Beware

I know them personally and there are only 3, one has been quite sick. They have built and nearly completely maintained all their buildings with out bringing in contractors.

I also lived there. The bathtub leaked water into the kitchen which molded the cabinets. The air conditioner didnt work for the first 4 months i lived there. It was horrible. And i called and called and they wouldnt fix the problem. So when i decided to break my lease and move out Bob tried to say he was going to call his lawyers. I told him please do!! It was the most horrible experience with landlords. Id rather live in foxglove!!!!

I used to live at Shadetree Apartments when I first moved here a few years ago and it wasn't a bad place to live at first. The building I moved into was new and the rent was $225 a month. Within the years I lived there I saw my share of drug dealers come and go and the managment didn't care as long as they got their rent. It didn't do anyone any good to complain bacause all they wanted was there rent money. Frank made it known that they could come and go out of your apartment and say they were cleaning the filter on the a/c/heat unit not telling what else was going on in the apartment while this cleaning was going on. But to give Frank credit he never did me wrong on the deposite or if I was a day or two late on the rent. One last thing if you live in a upstairs apartment look in the circuit breaker panel and see if you have a second circuit breaker that says Range Hood on it or a breaker that is not marked and turn it off and see for yourself what it controls. I found the security light outside my apartment was being run from my breaker panel. I thought all of the outside security was the property owners responsibilty. Go figure.

the ad in the register says the rent is $290 now
does this cover everything? or do you have seperate electric water?

register ad says $295 does this cover utilities? what are the apts like now? What kinds of leases do they offer?

Rent is 295 you only pay electric. There pretty strict on rules. The lanlord bob lives right near one set and they watch you like a hawk. You can't have anyone spend the night and if your volumes just a tad bit load they complain. You can't have anythi g hanging outside and they complain if you try to improve your apartment.

I lived there years ago and caught them going into my apartment for no reason or warning. I opened my door one day and saw the old guy in the kitchen looking around like he was looking for something. When I asked what he was doing he said inspecting. I said I didn't get a notice and he said I did. On another occasion I had went to the pool and I hung my towel on the balcony rail (b/c there was no washer/dryer) to dry. Me and my roommate got hungry so we went to sonic to grab food. When we came back, my towel was thrown into the apartment on the floor with a hand written note that said if I did something like that again I would be evicted. I know I probably should have put the towel in the house before I lefty but I was only gone for 15 min. This was 10+ years ago. Hopefully they are better now.

Rules ????? Like hell they do, anything can go there. As far as stuff hanging out side there is one apt over there that has all kind of crap sitting under the stairs. Looks like dump.

I lived there for a few years as well but unlike the others I didn't have any issues with bob or frank. Mark was the jerk to me and yes they will come into your apartment without notice. Did it to me several times.

over a year here now, and as far as i know they heve never entered my apt. pretty sure some years ago they entered an apt without notice and got a gun pulled on them bc the guy was startled. Just incase the landlords are reading this... i have protection and if im not expecting company you best believe if my door goes to opening im going for my protection. having said that ive had no problems with the landlords, i never even speak to them except when i pay the rent.

I'm looking for an apartment. Should I move into the shade tree apartments? Or should I be better somewhere else?

yes my whole family lives there, i even wired some money to my cousins in mexico to move up here

been here 3 years and havent seen a single bug of any kind
