Was she ever a teacher in Estill County? I had a Mrs. Cochran but can't remember the name. Prayers to the family & friends.

I've said it once and I will again. Suicide (if this is what occurred) is never understood by the "normal" people. No explanation can ever be given that will pacify those who don't understand why someone chooses to take their own life. It's best to stop asking questions 1) that are none of your business and 2) that will never be answered to your satisfaction.

Leisha passed away and that is all that needs to be said. It is nobody's business how and you had no right to write this. It will be hard enough on them without seeing that word. Please respect them and don't write how it happen, just be sad that she is gone.

Not to be disrespectful, but the reason that so many people suffer with suicidal ideation in silence is because no one wants to talk about it. Yes, it makes people uncomfortable but it's not something that should be ignored. The family likely won't ever understand but they should seek to find some form of acceptance of a life that someone found to be unbearable for reasons that are never the fault of someone else (e.g., family). It's a complicated subject but it's one that needs to be brought into the light rather than kept in the darkness.

Your are correct, but that is up to the family. I was saying it is not a subject that should be discussed on a forum for people who are not close to this family. Wish them well and don't wonder what happen. Her family knows how and why and they should be the ones discussing it, not topix.

She taught for a year or two at estill county as the health sciences teacher I guess you would call it, and she loved the kids she taught. She always smiled when she talked about her students. If you were her student, you were very lucky to have her.
