what do you think of dr.pittman from waco family clinic????????

I wouldn't know, went down there for 2 years and all I got to see was Jeri, his nurse practioner. Begged her to let me see him for my problem, she would say "next time" but it never happened. I quit going after I had to rush to PAC for emergency surgery. I hear he got a divorce and married Jeri.

Her name is Jeryl and I think she is great. I have seen her for about 10 yrs now and I dont want to see Dr. Pittman. Jeryl has seen me through a lot of problems, she is very prompt and caring. I have nothing bad to say about either of them. I have seen Dr. Pittman a cpl times and he was good to me also. I was losing my job and was on several routine meds, he made sure I had enough refills to get me through several months so I would not have to come back and pay copays. So if you ask me that is a very good place to go and either of them are good to see. I just prefer Jeryl, I guess because I am a female.

I saw Pittman for a few years, and Jeryl was who I really saw. She also would not set me up to see Pittman. After she mis-diagnosed a real problem scaring the hell out of me and everyone in my family, I stopped and got myself a real doctor.

My wife went there and saw Jeryl as her and was told she had a major heart problem, Scared us to death. She went to a heart specialist and was told by him that Jeryl was not trained in reading EKG's and that there was nothing wrong with her. She immidiately stopped seeing his office.

Jeryl may indeed make a fine wife for Pittman. But he needs oversee the medicine before she harms someone.

he does and he will. go to cvs on main st. and ask them about it. they know too. ask his nurse.

I have been going to Dr. Pittman for many years and I think he is great. I never have a problem setting up an appointment with him. He is very good about helping you out if you don't have health insurance. If you want to see Dr. Pittman then make an appt. with him. If you don't he may be too busy with the patients that he already had scheduled.

He is very good about helping you out if you don't have health insurance. your right. he will use someone else's insurance.

We had the exact same experience. She misdiagnosed . Walked in said "you have cancer" and then didn't explain anything...other than "I set up and appointment see the front desk for the information" and walked out. Very cold, uncaring, crass and ignorant. Luckily the other Dr. she made the referal to discovered their was ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong...wasted $1000's on a misdiagnosis. She needs to either get some more training or learn her limits. It's a shame that people like her exist in the medical field!

she has told more than one that they had cancer. she told my wife the same thing. she had none. scared us to death for no reason. then they turned around and used her insurance to treat another woman with the same name. not a mistake. their flat out crooks. tell them to come read this. i welcome them here.

we told them to stop treating the other woman. they kept on treating her anyway. with our insurance. we requested our records. they hee hawed around until we had the sheriff's dept show up and got the records back from them. they are CROOKS.

She was friendly with me but I wasn't there for a friend, I was there to find out what was wrong with me, she gave me all kinds of weird medicine to take, muscle relaxers, motion sickness pills, predisone, I can't even remember all of it now. I had a condition that any one out here would know that I needed a MRI for, which is what I asked for, but she ignored my pleas. I don't know why I couldn't see Pittman, oh, maybe it was because I had just lost a job and didn't have insurance. The ones I felt sorry for were the older people on the other side of wall--anyone with a brain could tell she didn't have a clue-- yet they seemed to be eating it up. I wonder how many of them lived? If I had continued going down there, I wouldn't be alive today. God bless Dr. Franklin at PAC.

Jeryl almost ruined my marriage. My husband went to see her for urinary problems,thinking he had a UTI. She told him he had an STD and that a man can not get a UTI. He knew he hadn't cheated and I knew that I hadn't cheated, but based on her word neither of us believed the other. We finally went to another doctor who diagnosed him with a UTI and put to rest any doubt in our minds.

I have been his patient for 10 years. He has helped me when I had insurance and when I didn't. He and Jeryl are outstanding people. I don't concern myself with their personal life. I just know if I need them they are there for me.
